I am in!! This sounds great! I have been looking for a group to join that was not closed, It looks like I am just in time! I need the water motivation, I didn't use to have a hard time with this but lately I have been drinking too much green tea. I have a question about the water intake though, can you put crystal lite in it or is it just plain water? LOL!

Good luck everyone this will be awesome motivation!!

I don't put anything in mine because I'm trying to stay away from artificial sweeteners, etc. But when I first started forcing myself to get more water in during the day, I used Crystal Light to ease myself into it! Then I would start using 1/2 pack per bottle instead of a full one, and eventually just did without.
What helps me most is I bought a special travel cup that I really like that holds 32 oz--it's nice to know I only have to drink 2 cups to get my 64 oz instead of like 8 glasses/bottles etc. Now I usually go over and above the 64 oz each day!
And green tea is a pretty good way to hydrate--good for the metabolism as long as you're not putting a bunch of sugar in it!

I totally agree with this ^^^^ I have an aluminum bottle that also holds 32 oz. I try to have one down by noonish, and the other by supper time. anything after that is bonus!! Occ'l I buy some fresh lemons or limes and slice them and add to my water. I have sliced them and kept them in the freezer then take out when I need one. Drinking water is soo soo good for you. You will be visiting the bathroom a lot, and a good sign is that it will be lighter in color! I don't drink too much after supper or near bedtime or I'll be up during the nite disrupting my beauty sleep:wink:

Off to get some groceries....fresh fruits and veggies!! Will check in later!

Hey, WELCOME to the newbies!! Glad to have you here! :flowerforyou:

    Get drinkin' peeps!:drinker:

For the people who aren't big fans of drinking plain water:

I love to use a fat flush by Jillian that is delicious and easy to drink. I bought a 64 oz. water bottle from Target that I lug around with me everywhere. I put in 2 Tbsp of pure lemon juice, 1 Tbsp cranberry juice (100% juice), 60 oz of distilled or filtered water and a Dandelion tea bag. No caffeine or stimulants... purifies the liver... and tastes pretty great too! :flowerforyou:

I'm In! I'm at 24 oz so far for today. The majority of my water is consumed with meals :)

    SW:186
    GW by X-mas: 170

I pretty much consume water 90% of the time, and using a water bottle that holds 24 oz, is a great way for me to monitor my water intake. I use one of the Camelpak water bottles b/c they easily fit into car cup holders, so I basically take it with me everywhere. This way, whenever I get thirsty and I am out running errands, I have something to drink on hand. Also, the suggestion of using Crystal Light type drink mixes would be great for people trying to transition from other drinks to water.

Good morning everyone! (It's still morning on the West Coast hehe) I LOVE the water motivation! I know I can sure use it.

I have a 20 oz sippi-type water container that actually has numbered notches to keep track of how many times you've filled up! It really encourages me and serves a reminder to drink up :)

    Cheers!

Mid-day at work and i've only taken in 16oz, but I usually only get in about 24oz out the entire day. Don't worry I'm gonna get on it. I'm thinking I should set my goal at 64oz. 6 more cups to go! Stay motivate guys.

OAN: Did we agree to try the push-up challenge. I think it's a great idea. Go slower you'll feel it more. Only thing, like someone else asked, "Should we be doing them everyday?"

34oz at noon!!! I plan to drink just as much the second half of my work day -- and then I usually have about 2 16oz bottles at home!!! That would put me at......... 100oz for the day!!
