It's Sunday and I am weighing in Ladies....184...a new number for me !! Yea, those weights must be working. I did workout B on my program ROLFW yesterday which includes lat pulldowns on the machine.( up to 75 lbs now ) My back across my shoulders REALLY feel it. ( in a good way )

Spent 1 1/2 hours in a chiropractor clinic ....the visit was amazing. They were so many tests/checks during the exam and she explained everything. I was very impressed . The doctor was there to assist the student and the whole thing was free....woo hoo ! Got a nice adjustment, diagnosis and a follow up for next week. No tingles in my foot yet today. I could do that every week. Only the first visit is that long. And lots of bio freeze

hope you all have a great day!

    Hello, Everybody.

Glad to have some people back that have been gone awhile. When I first joined MFP I meant to add everyone of you in this challenge as friends. I did not. But if you would like to add, me I would be happy to accept!
I am weighing in today because Mondays just are not good AND I had downward movement on the scale and want to record it. LOL.
I have had a busy time with lots of foot since last Sunday. Two funerals and they always involve food and lots of desserts. Along with the TOM this week, I am thrilled to show a loss today!
For me it is really a matter of saying "No" to other drinks so I get my water in. Just gotta keep the focus going. I have noticed I am on my feet more at work lately, so that's adding to my activity.
Hope everyone had a good week and has a better one next week.
If MFP is calculating correctly and I stay within calories I should be very close to goal by the end of this challenge. Looking forward to that. And enjoying the variety of options in clothes that I can get back into now.

I did the same thing. I usually weigh in on Tuesdays, but I recorded mine today because I was down.

glad to see you back !

I just got back from a 2 hour hike with my honey. We went to the bottom of the Niagara Falls whirlpool. A great fall morning ! Had some curry chicken for lunch at a little place on the way home. Wish we could do this every week. After 22 years-- I still like the man.

    Hello everyone,

Well after a 2 week lapse, I'm back to full speed as of this morning. life is not so stressful, a couple of the recent issues have been resolved.
My daughter got a place in the second round of offers in the school she wanted.
Work: we passed our BRC audit "A" grade so major contract is safe.
Mother's cancer will be operated on in the next 4 weeks and if successful there should be no need for chemo.
I have an appointment with an endocrinologist this Wednesday so hopefully we can get the Thyroid back in line.

So for this week's weigh in....... very happy no gain still 178, however without the exercise i feel flabby. Goals: back to the 30DS starting tonight, get the fridge stocked with prepared salads, fruits and veggies.

I have slept a little better since mid week so lets hope it continues.

Thanks to one and all for your support over the last couple of weeks.

    Hi everyone,
Can't wait to see how everyone is doing. I hope you all had a better week than I but I think I am starting this one on a up note.
My weight went up to above my starting weight for this challenge and stayed there for a few days. I got it down two pounds by yesterday but I decided to do something I haven't done since starting MFP more than a year ago I upped my weight. I usually don't do that since I am a big weight fluctuator. But I really felt this was a real gain. My daughter was home sick last week. I started the week with exercise and got some this weekend.

Anyway I decided to adjust my calorie goal back up of all things to 1 pound loss a week. I felt where I had it set at 1.5 was not sustainable the way life was going. I needed exercise to stay under my goal. I will keep it this way throughout the Christmas season but don't think I am not serious about losing through it all. I am. I do better if I set realistic goals and frankly lower calorie goals aren't sustainable over longer times. I know that I can't eat all these calories and lose. I have already tried it and it may have worked for the first few weeks on here but not generally. Unless I get my metabolism really smoking. So I am planning to try to stay lower than my goal.

    SW - 231
    GW - 210 (Dec 25)
    Week 1 - 229.8 (Aug 22)
    Week 2 - 229.8 (Aug 29)
    Week 3 - 229.8 (Sep 5)
    Week 4 - 229.0 (Sep 12)
    Week 5 - 226.8 (Sep 19)
    Week 6 - 226.8 (Sep 26)
    Week 7 - 225.4 (Oct 3)
    Week 9 - 225.4 (Oct 10)
    Week 10 - 225.4 (Oct 17)
    Week 11 - xxx (Oct 24) no weigh-in
    Week 12 - xxx (Oct 31) Goal 220 no weigh-in
Week 13 - 227 (Nov 7) This weight was actually just a snap shot of my fluctuations that week. Went up to 232 for 2-3 days that week
Week 14 - 229 (Nov 14) looks like up but I am actually on my way back down again,
    Week 15 - xxx (Nov 21)
    Week 16 - xxx (Nov 28) Goal 215
    Week 17 - xxx (Dec 5)
    Week 18 - xxx (Dec 12)
    Week 19 - xxx (Dec 19)
    Final - xxx (Dec 25) Goal 210 SW - 231
So I am really glad to be back in the 20s and I plan to make my way to the 10's.

Just a quick check in. I am going to come back to read all your posts later, but right now I do have to run out and do some errands.

We just got back from Boston last night. I haven't done very well lately - I've been over everyday for the last week. I haven't done a weigh in this week, either as we were away.

So I'm gonna get right back to it this week and hopefully have a loss in each of the next two weekends. Then, two weeks from today, hubby and I are headed to NYC for a week (and I probably won't do so well that week either - I'm definitely going to have a chocolate cannoli from Carlo's bakery.) Hopefully, though, I won't undo getting to my goal and have to get there again.

Goals for the next week, get back to the water drinking, don't miss aquacise (missed both Wednesday and Sunday sessions), and now I REALLY have some sleep to catch up on.

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy week with great successes.

I'm glad things are looking up for you, Linda. I hope everything goes splendidly with your Mom's surgery and you get your thyroid under control. Isn't the 30DS great? I think I need to do it again - I felt so strong last time.

Sorry ladies. I have bad news for you all (and me). I have been told that I am off the diet for the next few weeks by my doctor. I'll update when I get more information. Poop. I had weighed in at 151. I'll keep watching you guys and kibbutz til I hear. Sorry about this - I just can't talk about my situation yet.
