    This thread is amazing! I'm anticipating the day that I can post here. I'm 4'9" and 126 pounds at my heaviest, hoping to get down to 95 pounds. I can't wait till I look like everyone who has posted on here!

    What great motivation! I'm 5'3.5 and have started shrinking in height in my late 50's. It's true short people show the weight a lot faster. One thing I've learned and we can see with the photo threads is that body frame means a lot in terms of weight. I didn't think I could every lose weight until I found MFP. I lost 15 and then hurt my ankle and knee and everything fell by the wayside. I'm back now and hope to have the same successes of the ladies here!

    5'2" and 43 years old and my starting weight was 157.0. Today I'm 123.0 with a goal weight of 122.0. Here are my before/after pics:

    Such inspiring pictures! I started my (hopefully) last weight loss journey about 3 weeks ago with the removal of my thyroid. I've lost 6 pounds so far. Very encouraging!
