    4/28 - 241.5
    5/4 - 238.0
    yeah!!!! i was so surprised! i've drank enough water for there to be a drought and have been keeping myself moving all the time and it really is working!!!

    Hi Everyone,

    I dont get it! I weighed myself on Thursday and had lost 2lbs...and than I weighed myself today and I only lost 1 lb since last week. I think I ate too much this weekend. :mad:

    Starting Weight 180lbs
    04/20/09: 178lbs (-2)

    I need some help....I know that I have been eating well and exercising. This is esentially the safest and healthiest way to loose and keep weight off. But ...I need to cheat just for this week. I have a competition with my family on who looses the most weight...so far everyone has lost 10lbs-12lbs. Since April 10th....and I have only lost 7lbs. The goal is to loose 15lbs or whomever comes the closest. Can someone please let me know how I can loose 5 to 6 pounds fast. I am willing to do anything.. This would only be temporary.

    Great job on the 1 lb loss! :drinker: Your doing a great job... The only thing I can suggest that may help is cut out carbs for that short period of time. Then when your competition is over make sure to include them again.

    Happy Monday. I am going to try and stay positive I got woke up at 3 am by one of the kids who had a bad dream. Never fell back to sleep before the alarm went off. Everything is harder when I do not get enough sleep. Hope all had a great weekend.

    04/27/09: 186 bad bad week, felt so run down that working out did not happen as much as wanted. Pizza Friday night out for anniversary last night ( of course my husband picked an Italian place for dinner)

    I started phase 1 of the South Beach Diet today Looking back at my food diary I can see I have been eating a lot of carbs....I was staying in my calorie counts but am really stalled. I have done Atkins but found it too restrictive to make it a lifestyle. Hoping I can find that lifestyle with South Beach because I do not want to count calories the rest of my life. I would also like to not worry about how many calroies I burned during a workout. I just want to work out and be proud that I did it.

    OK so I definitely have to start over this week. Finals have really screwed me up! I haven't been properly dieting the past 2 weeks and haven't worked out any. I didn't make my mini goal for the island trip, but I did take pictures so I could start to measure my progress. Don't make fun. It's far from where I want to be. So... today I'm starting over.

    Hey Loren, No one will make fun we all have our bad days or weeks at that! I was doing good a few mnts ago and then with work, money and life getting in the way I gained a few pds back. Were women and it happens, but as long as your back on track you will do fine!

It's ok you've gained a lb, it's not the end of the world so get your butt in gear and get the sweating! You can do it, and your gonna look fab for the Florida convention and the wedding! :drinker:

    yah I was excited the last time I weighed my self I was 140... I started eating alittle better and was going to "Start" my REAL eating better today... So I weighed my self this morning and I was 135!!! I was like whooo hooo!!

    Anywho, I had some honey nut cheerios for breakfast w/no milk, and for lunch I'm having a little salad I made with a piece of pita bread. Drinking lots of water and after work I'm going tanning and then home to work out.

    ** 4mnts til my Wedding Day! and 10 pds to go!!

    I know they have a lot of sodium but I like smart ones a lot. I usually eat those everyday for lunch so that I know exactly how many calories. For dinner I cook a healthy meal.

    I like the Smart ones too but my stomach is soooo sensitive that the Smart Ones upset it! So i have to actually make my lunch!! Which is not too bad.
