    Loving this thread!

Mine's Vanilla yogurt with cereal (cheerios, coco puffs, etc) mixed in.

Sweet with a nice crunch to it.
  • I think I saw it on here

    Half a graham cracker
Spread light cream cheese on top
Spread reduced sugar strawberry jelly on top of that

    Voila! You have mini cheesecakes

I never thought of that! And I love cheesecake, I'm gonna have to try this!

Almond-Poppy Crackers with Cottage Cheese and Honey

Intensely flavored almond flour gives these poppy crackers a buttery crispness, along with a measure of protein, calcium, vitamin E, and folic acid.

    Yield
    Makes 1 dozen
    Serves 6

    Ingredients

    For The Crackers:
    1 1/2 cups blanched almond flour (bobsredmill.com)
    1 tablespoon poppy seeds
    1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
    1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
1 large egg white, lightly beaten

    For The Topping:
    3/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese
    1/4 cup honey
    Directions
    make the crackers:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, poppy seeds, oil, salt, and egg white. Transfer mixture to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cover with parchment; roll out dough to an 8-by-12-inch rectangle. Uncover, and cut into twelve 2-by-4-inch crackers using a paring knife. Bake until golden brown, 12 to 14 minutes. Let cool.

    make the topping:

Pulse cottage cheese in a food processor until smooth. Spread 1 tablespoon onto each cracker, and drizzle each with 1 teaspoon honey.

    Cook's Note

An unrimmed baking sheet makes it easier to roll the dough. Crackers can be stored at room temperature for up to one week.

FOUND: SNACK WITH VERY LITTLE SUGAR! Tried something new today; Quaker Stila Oat Clusters Bits. I had the Cranberry & Yogurt and it was nice! 1 package is 90 kcal with only 5g of sugar.

1 full graham cracker w/ Biscoff spread across it--its less than 100 calories and it gives you the crunch most snacks require, the creamy texture of the Biscoff has a sweet and somewhat sharp taste to it--its basically a gingerbread spread....so yummy
  • Saving for later!
  • For the sweet tooth: 1 sheet chocolate graham cracker, break in half , put 2 tbsp fat free cool whip between and freeze. Kinda like ice cream sandwich, only 90 calories. If you can find the reduced fat chocolate graham crackers, less calories than that.
  • Get a low fat yoghurt, toss the contents into a bowl ( a 1 portioned yoghurt, like activia) and slice a banana or whatever fruit you desire into that and you have a delicious, simple, low calorie desert!

I love veggies with ranch dip, but instead of regular ranch I mix powdered ranch dressing mix into plain greek yogurt. Tastes awesome, way less calories, and way more protein!

That's a great idea with the ranch! I can do without a lot of things but NOT MY RANCH. I'm going to give this a try! How much of the packet do you mix in or are you using a larger container of yogurt and the whole packet of mix?

Make your own Peanut butter if you can not find a better solution at the store.

    I use my ninja

    10 oz unsalted peanuts
    1/3 cup peanut oil
    2 Tbls honey

    process peanuts untill thick
slowly add peanut oil until combined
slowly add honey while processing at the end.
