I wish I got one. We take it in the *kitten* every year and we don't even make that much.
my dad is the same way. My husband and I do get a return though.
and that being said, we're putting some in savings, paying off the rest of our credit card, and im paying off prek up until the end of the year so i don't have to worry about it anymore. Next year we'll be paying off my truck with it.

    to pay the divorce lawyer!!!

oh I've been there! that's why I am now spending it the past couple years to make my home nice, all I got when I moved out was this damn chair that I just mentioned, which is falling apart! Last year I bought a bed, new bedding, lamps, dresser, and bedside tables. I was sleeping on an air mattress.

I'm not sure what the government is doing with the $4500 I'm paying them.

I forgot to mention that. We are either moving to a bigger place or paying our rent up a few months. I'm job hunting, graduated from dental school in Oct. We may wait til I get a job to move.

I already have my fiance and I's budgeted out:

    - big chunk into wedding account
    - paying off engagement ring
    - buying our wedding bands
    - paying off Best Buy bill
    - new iPhone for my fiance since his contract will be up next month
    - some to his mom who helped furnish bedroom furniture and clothes when he got custody of his daughter
    - and then a little bit left over for spending money

And hopefully the government will do what they're supposed to and garnish his daughter's deadbeat mom's tax return and send him a check for the $1000+ she currently owes us already, so that we'll have expenses paid for her for the next 6 months and can save save save any extra money of our own.

this is why I said for those of us getting a refund. I know a lot of friends who don't get a refund. One day I am sure will be me too.
