Both - I could not imagine my life without my fur balls. They sure make my bad days so much better And I know they love me regardless of the day I have had.0

I'm a cat person. I have a cat and a dog but I just tend to drift torwards cats.
Edit: you don't have to take cats outside in the freezing cold or the middle of the nights!0 -
Everything! lol We currently have 4 cats, 2 dogs and a beta fish. I used to have a bunny and a hamster as well and one other cat, all who have passed away over the years. Our dream is to buy a house with land so we can add a pot belly pig, some goats, alpacas and bunnies to our lives. I love animals! And my friends call me the crazy cat lady, which I'm totally okay with, though I won't be throwing them at the kids telling them to get off my lawn anytime soon!0

Both! I'm an animal lover. While I only have a dog (who sometimes acts a little like a cat), my parents have a farm with lots of different animals0

I am a cat person luckily married to a cat man! I have a 14 yr old Cleocatra and my husband has 7 yr old Stewart! We love them so. Dogs dislike my husband but LOVE me. I dislike dogs as my cat tells me to do so. :laugh:0

Love both, but right now we only have a cat. (Althought she's quite the handful at the moment with her teenager attitude.) We've had the worst luck with dogs recently, so we won't be getting another probably until the kids are off to college.
Oh, we also have 3 fish!0 -
Dog -- all the way!0

Dog! My dogs make me smile daily and get me off my butt and moving too. That being said; it really depends on the dog or cat. I am not as much of a cat person at this moment because my boyfriend's cat is an evil urchin. But the barn cat at my old stable was the coolest cat ever.0

Cat, I had to put her down yesterday. RIP MIs Marbles!!
I am sorry poor kitty RIP! >^..^<0 -
Which are you? Cat person or dog person (or neither).
I'm a cat person (but not like one of those crazy hoarders that has eleventy billion cats living in squalor all over the house).
And after 2 years, this huge black tom cat still nursed on the dog every night.0 -
Cat person but I adore all animals.0

I love scaring the 3 little neighbor kids... every time they come into my yard they ask me if the cats bite (they would NEVER bite or scratch a person intentionally, they're sweet) so I just give a raised eyebrow or two and tell them "yep, they bite sometimes so you better watch out!" it keeps the kids from trampling through my yard all the time... LOL. Plus, I got tired of them asking me every single time... I used to say "No" but got so tired of it that now I enjoy scaring the crap out of them...0

I prefer cats. They're cleaner and more self sufficient than dogs. Plus I have issues with the slobber
This has not however kept me from promising my boys a dog once we have a house with a yard....sigh0 -
I used to be a cat person all the way, but since getting a dog 6 months ago.. I have completely changed my mind. I love cats, but I am definitely a dog person now!0

Dog. Had to put my aussie down 2 weeks back and am still surprised by how much I miss having her around the house.
I don't dislike cats but would not own one. They are too persnickety, bi-polar, and scratchy. Reminds me of an ex-.
Sorry to hear that you had to have your dog put down, I had my first springer put down over two years ago and still miss her like crazy x
Thank you, Springermad. My condolences on your pup. They really are part of the family.0
