  • I'm in! Goal to lose 8 pounds,
    Working out 5days a week doing Cross fit, some rock climbing and just generally staying out of the house and moving.
    Starting weight 282.8

    Oops. My starting weight is 180.8. Goal for February is 175.8.
  • I weigh 165 and want to lose 10 lbs this month!

    GW: 200 (For this challenge)

    I'm following the basic calorie in/out plan and focusing on cardio work this month. I plan on exercising 4+ times a week and continuing to improve my diet. I'm disappointed with January's loss but know I'm moving in the right direction.

    I'm keeping my MFP weigh in on Friday's, but I'm going to weigh in for this challenge on Wednesday's too.

    SW 275 (January 17th, 2012)
    CW 273 (February 1, 2012)
    GW 263 (March 1, 2012)

    My goals for the month include:
    drinking tons of water!
    working out 3 days a week going to Zumba
    staying within my calories on a daily basis
    losing 10 pounds (hopefully)

    Ok here we go starting weight is 185 lbs.

    Goal for Feb 29th is 175 lbs.
    Exercise will be minimum od 20 mins daily. M, W, F - Eliptical trainer at home after work.
    T, TH, - Tae Kwon Do
    Sat - Sun - the YMCA or fitness room at the hotel.

    Challenges to over come: A work sponsered weekend at a resort... need to keep the drinking to a mimimum
    Monday Nights - mens bowling league..... no chicken wings!

    I'm in! My weight today is 205.4. My goal is to be at 195.0 on February 29th. My daily goal is to stay within/under my daily calories!! I've been slacking lately... back on track TODAY!!!

    My starting weight is 306, my goal is to lose 10 pounds. Calorie control, and cardio/strength training are my mechanisms by which I intend to achieve said goal.

  • I am currently 145. I would like to weigh 140 by 3/1/12. I'm on day 3 of my healthy eating cleanse (no supplements because I'm nursing). I am also going to run 2x's this week for at least 20 minutes, and get in as much daily exercise as I can with 2 little boys underfoot!

    I eat around 1200cals a day and I plan to workout 4 times a week. :)

    SW - 240 on Jan. 19
    CW - 235 on Feb. 1

    Goal is to lose 6 pounds, or 1.5 pounds per week, this month. Keeping it realistic and healthy with hopes I can surpass it. Going to adjust my goal to 1.5 pounds per week, try to work more whole foods into my diet, and get up off my rear and move more!

    I try to eat 1200 cals/day and I try to workout 45 mins 4 times a week.

    I do 60 minutes of cardio 6 days a week. I do dumbbell rows and tricep dips on M/W/F. I also do 25 minutes of Zumba on T/T/S. I try to keep my calorie intake below 1,500 each day.

    Sounds great to me....count me in....I started officially yesterday. Keeping a blog just to hold myself accountable. I weighed in this morning at 208.00. I can't believe I just typed that. Anyway 1 month, great support, I can do this! As for measurements....I'll try and get those done this evening and post.

    I'm happy I found this challenge since I was most successful when I was part of an MFP challenge. I haven't found one that seemed like a good fit in months, until now. Thanks OP for organizing the challenge!

    CW- 160 (using my house scales instead of gym scales, which always adds a few lbs. for clothing)
    GW- 150 (for the end of February)

    I do 60 mins. cardio 4-6 times a week, adding treadmill back to my routine this month and daily walks (weather permitting).
