Wow! I made a high protein vanilla cheesecake smoothie tonight. It tastes like cake batter. So delicious!!! Here's the ingredients and you can easily modify as you like.

1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup nonfat milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 tablespoons sugar free cheesecake pudding mix
tsp. vanilla extract
6 ice cubes
stevia or whichever sugar substitute you like and add to taste.

Toss it all in a blender and mix until smooth and thickens. Don't worry, the cottage cheese gets all smooth and gives it a cheesecake cake batter taste.

This recipe packs 60 grams of protein and about 400 calories. Super yummy and you stay very full.

Thanks for sharing this recipe. It looks yummy. I especially like the idea of freezing it for healthy 'ice cream.'

Cut the recipe in half. I mentioned you can modify it. Then you're at 200 calories and 30 grams of protein. I will drink the full recipe as a meal replacement so the 400 calories is no big deal.

I don't like cottage cheese at all....so can you seriously not taste it in this? If so, I might try it out.

This sounds awesome, and the strawberry idea sounds even better. Suggestions on the vanilla protein powder, anyone?

You CAN NOT taste the cottage cheese. It gets complete smooth and I will swear to you that it tastes just like cake batter in your cup. Just whip up a cake mix and stick in a straw. That is how I would describe the taste. Even my youngest children love this and there is no way they would eat plain cottage cheese.
