for the first time ever, i woke up before work to get a workout in!!!0

Since starting up exercising there has been a lot of minor things that I'm doing much easier now which has me very happy0

I need to do this today; I've been being negative and down on myself all day...and a bad attitude never got anyone ANYWHERE.
Random Positive Things:
I have lost 53 lbs total since joining this site in July of 2010
I went from a size 16 to a size 8
I have tons of energy!!!! And I love to workout (which I never could have said before)
I am able to wear clothes I never thought I'd be able to again
My job is awesome and I think i'm pretty great at it0 -
Smoked my last cigarette 1/6/12 at 10 pm..I HAVE gained a little..but am going to tackle that with a vengence!! Looking forward to gaining muscle and getting in the best shape of my life!!0

I went to a super bowl party last night and didn't eat a thing. I ate before I went. I was so happy that I wasn't tempted to eat something I would regret. AND I got on the gym floor and played basketball with my 11 year old daughter last night. I have to tell you that is a first for me! And I was so proud of myself!! We had so much fun and reminded me why I am on this journey. THIS is the kind of mommy I want to be!!!! :happy:0

I'm hitting time for my afternoon snack, and I'm actually craving a banana with peanut butter more than I am the chocolate chunk cookies I made with my daughter yesterday. Oh yeah, and my pants are totally feeling loose on my a**! :bigsmile:0

I am already up to Day 6 of Level 1 of the 30DS, and I like what's going on with the shape of my butt. I did a 2 1/2 hour trail hike with intermittent running on Saturday, and I want to do it again! I am eating healthier all the time and today when the chocolate monster made me get up and go to the store for chocolate I only bought one Lindt truffle. Not 3 or 4 or 5, just one. And it was glorious.0

Not clear if it was too big or too small.:laugh:My bra fits so much better than it did a month ago! I also feel a lot better now that I've been consistently working out for a few weeks.0

It took a while and a LOT of learning about myself, but I reached my goal weight recently. I can promise that I'll never add those 47 pounds back again, because I'm a different person now. Yesterday, I pushed up 170 pounds on the leg press machine after being away from the gym for a month ---to learn my routines as a Zumba instructor. My all time high has been 190---so to know that I haven't lost much of my capability after a forced absence was pretty great. It was also great seeing the two 'in shape' men at the gym make big eyes over 5' tall, 107 pound me leg pressing more than they were. Onward and upward. My fitness goal for 2012: a marathon, leg pressing double my body weight, multiple pull ups, continue to rock my Zumba classes.0

Well Im Happy because I got an entire garbage bag of (fat clothes) that Im donating. not keeping those around any longer...bye bye Fat Clothes..oh yea and I pulled out clothes I had put away that didnt fit me a week ago and they fit me today...yay0

I'm happy because I am fit, I have a wonderful husband that runs with me. I love my family and they love me!!0

I've lost 3 inches in my waist in 1 month, and I can do boy-style push-ups now!! Yay!!0

Despite not getting enough sleep, I'm going to the gym. Even if I go slow, even if its NOT a great workout, it is still better than nothing. I'm smart enough to know that.0

I looked F-ing hot in my little brown glittery dress for Carnaval on Saturday. Bought it a long time ago for "when I lose weight"... finally wore it!0

I was able to do a side plank this morning at the gym without modifications!! This one has always killed me!!! It was still rough but I did it!!0

I am back and ready to do this. I cut the amount of sugar and butter on my oatmeal in half and truely did messure it. Also I loved loved loved my healthy simple lunch so it make s me feel like I will continue this journey. It has been a life long battle. but I want a long life so I have to battle it!0

ok here goes:
I am finally loving waking up at 5:30am to workout and have been able to do it for 15 consecutive days which has never happened before.
I am almost done with Level 2 of the 30DS
I was told yesterday that I looked so much leaner (and you know we all love to hear that so I am inviting that person over more often LOL)
I feel a lot stronger when I workout and finally weigh my lowest in 6 years!
I love my three beautiful children (and that is inclusing my husband)
AND
Even though I went over my calories yesterday I feel up and ready to gte moving forward!!!:drinker:0 -
I'm so proud of myself for getting up this morning and doing my workout even though I'd been up for most of the night with my son with the flu! I am feeling great about myself today for that0

I have been trying to get up in the mornings and work out but have been to lazy. Well, this morning I got myself up and did 30DS before work.0
