This past Saturday I saw how all my hard work has paid off! My friend and I found ourselves skiing a poorly groomed cross country ski trail which got worse and worse as we went along. By the end of the day, we had trudged through thigh high snow in our attempt to get back to the main road - we were someplace between lost and sort of knowing a road was up ahead. I don't think I could have handled that terrain a year ago. Sooooo thankful I've been getting to the gym and working out!0

Instead of posting something positive for the sake of being positive you COULD read too far in to my thread :drinker:0 -

I think everyone is in a yucky mood, from pigging out yesterday at super bowl, or carb overloading at superbowl, which puts you in a yucky mood! HAHAHA LOL0

This time last year, I couldn't run 1/8 mile without panting like a dying dog. To be honest, this time last year, I wasn't even trying yet. Yesterday I ran 8 miles. I couldn't even do that as a 150 lb teenager.0
