    Goal Weight: 125
    Only 55.5 lbs. to go!! Seems like a depressing number. That is why this Msg Board is helpful & encouraging for me. Breaking it up into increments of 5 lbs. per month doesn't seem as big a burden. Thank you everybody & good luck to you all!

  • I know it is February 11, 2012. I would like to be part of the challenge. Today when I went to way I had lost the total of 1.8 lbs.

    Sarting weight 213.6 on 2/1/2012


    I will post my progress randomly through the month as I am doing the 30DS and I weigh myself every 10 or so days.


    Goal for the end of the month is 208.6

    But I am going to aim for 205 by the end of the month. :)
    (I did 8.2 in Jan)


    Today I weighed in at 211

    So a 2.6 lb loss so far. Im starting to worry but hopefully I can reach the 208.6 goal :)

    I am really struggling this month. I had an I don't care weekend so I ate and drank way more than I should have and getting on the scale this morning showed it. I am up 3 pounds this month. I hate that the scale is moving the wrong direction. I need to get focused and do this. I need to make working out and eating right my priorities for the rest of the month. I also need to get back into logging everything I eat to keep my calorie intake visible.

    I plan to really force water this week. I get in as many workouts as I can find time for.

    Keep working this is for the rest of our lives.

    I am going the wrong way this month. A bit discouraged as I push past my 30 day mark here on MyFitnessPal. I was really hoping to get this thing moving in the right direction, but looks like the "bumps" have come earlier than expected.

    Hope others are doing better than I am this month!

    PS: I am also a father looking to build a MyFitnessPal network, so if you are a working Dad or anyone honestly interested in adding someone to your MFP friends, I'd appreciate a few invites. I could obviously use the motivation.

    Hi Terri

    Wow, I could have written that entire message myself. I too had a bad weekend where I ate and drank what I liked and suffered a 1.2 lb gain (would have been more if I'd not been good in the week).

    I am also making working out and eating healthily a serious focus this month - I'm resigned to the fact it will be a lifelong struggle. The sad fact is that I love food, so I need to plan my week carefully so as not to fall off the wagon. I try to make new meals so I don't get bored, and making my soup for lunches at work helps too, not tempted to chips & gravy in the canteen then!

    Let's do this :-)

    At the beginning of the Month I weighed 233.4 and with increased cardio sessions I have gone down to 230.8. With some help from my mother, who informed I needed to take it back to the basics, I am closing in on the February goal!

    Congrats to everybody on your weight loss for the week. And to those that stayed the same or gained....please don't give up.
    I was on a regimen of up & down on the lbs. for 3 weeks then BAM!! 3 lbs. gone! Stay on tracking your food. Get the workouts in
    so you can eat more! I love to eat so it's that much sweeter when I get to have so much food that I can't eat all my calories!

    I worked pretty hard except on Monday when I went over my calorie limit and ate a muffin! Disappointed not to have lost anything, but according to the wii fit (which I weigh myself on) I went downa little bit on my BMI, so maybe I lost a fraction of a pound! Ah well, snow has gone so back to the gym tomorrow, more wii My Fitness Coach Dance Workout for me in a minute!

    Two more pounds to completing this February challenge successfully and also achieving my final weight goal - the stars seem to be aligned! I've been protecting a 100 pound weight loss but losing the last 8 pounds since joining MFP is very very sweet!

    We are past the half way mark - hang in everyone and let's get this done!!!
