Haha, I can't say it's ever happened to me...but then again, most of my guy friends on here are ones I know in real life, so...0

I think it would be funny to call someone master blaster ;-)0

I've been called handsome! But thats understandable! lol0
-
I like all the nicknames but jelly bean and cupcake are my favs!0

I call alot of my female friends (and acquaintances too) 'love'
"wassup honey"
"Take care love"
But I have a very very flirty personality in a harmless way. I can get away with saying "Hey baby, wanna go in the back room so I can do a big session of show and tell?" in front of their husbands. Its just about personality and how you say it0 -
Compliments are nice but I wish my "babe" was on here to tell me that daily:)0

I don't mind if I know the person otherwise it seems a little cheesy. I don't know about cupcake or extra fluffy nicknames... But I can do the basics. Not so sure about "love" . From a woman no big deal but I would need the guy to do it first or I might risk it being misinterpreted...0

I only respond to "Goddess Divine"0

How do you feel about MFPals (guys and girls) calling you gorgeous, babe, awesome, beautiful, sweets, cupcake, love, etc???
(The list goes on and on really...) What's your favorite?
OP Did you care to share how you feel about these names?0 -

I like them. It makes me feel special. Probably because I use them too as endearing terms. I feel like my feelings are mirrored when someone calls me something sweet. :-)0 -
If they're respectful and dignified about it, it doesn't bother me. I'm a grown woman, and don't allow obscene gestures made to me, and if I am called that, I ignore it.0

When used by the friends I'm closest to, I like them. I use terms like that for many of my friends.0

I dunno... I tend to think it sounds sarcastic. Maybe it's just the brash new york culture, but you don't call someone 'sweetheart' or 'honey' in a nice way, it's almost always said with bite.
You should move south of the Mason Dixon line sweetheart.....down here, when we say it, we mean it... ;-)0 -
I don't mind if I have established some sort of friendship with the person...
So, its ok if I call you darlin'....darlin?0 -
rsrsrs no one on here calls me that....but I hate it when people try to give me pet names. I'm not a pet.
If babe and sweetheart make you sound like a pet...then how about Spot or Fluffy???0
