  • 19.6% fat. When I tested using a caliper it said 26.1% so I'm loving a lower number!

How often does everyone test their body fat percent?
  • Thanks!

    You have 20.3% body fat.

You have 27.3 Pounds of fat and 107.7 Pounds of lean (muscle, bone, body water).

Cool. Seems probably close enough (though it's irritating that my home step-on scale is so far off...telling me I'm 25%! >(

    I'd like to try to get below 20% (I'm pretty close)...preferably 18%.

How does it know by your age and measurements what is fat and what is muscle?

I measured myself on body fat scales a while ago and came out at 57% fat. I'd check again but I keep getting an error message. 57% seems kind of high for me, but the website has me at 36% which seems much too low! It doesn't really explain how it works out. I'd say that proportionately for my size, my waist and wrists are smaller, whereas my thighs and hips are bigger. I don't know if those proportions give you a smaller body fat %.

Edit: it says I have 126.7 of lean body mass, but that seems unlikely when I weighed less that in total before I got fat! (Or do you tend to carry extra muscle and water as you gain weight?)

It just told me that I'm 23% body fat and I'm still 4lbs. above my healthy BMI, so there's no way that you're 23%. I'm looking at your picture and shaking my head because I can't even see my abs yet.
