    Hi everyone..... I have missed reading your posts and chatting with you all..

    I am back from my trip from Ohio...what a challange eating out 3 meals a day. I think I did pretty good. I drank lots of water and walked around a lot. Getting weighed first thing tomorrow morning...but then have to go for a 4 hour glocuse tolerance test. Not sure how all this sugar is going to effect me or show on the scale.

    I had to do approximations for most of my meals. I even turned down a dinner invitation for Cheesecake Factory after looking up their menu on line and reading about the nutritional content of their food. (There was no way I could have gone there without getting the cheesecake and the calories for a slice of cheesecake started at 500 calorries.)

    I will post my goals tomorrow when I get back.

    Got weighed this morning, was only up 1/2 lb, so I felt relieved. Went for my 4 hour test.... didn't pass out, but they had me lay down 1 hour into the test.

    My goals for today

    catch up on laundry
    go food shopping
    journal honestly
    drink lots of water.... got to get rid of all that salt intake from the last few days.
    spend time with my doggies

    was hoping to start my weekend cleaning, just didn't get around to it. I did get my mail caught up and mailed out the bills. Just remembered that I never took my vitamins.

    Tonight going to catch up on my tv shows and take a long hot shower. Hope everyone has a great night.

    4. Allow myself to rest so I can beat this chest cold and breathe again- didn't go to the gym, but I did clean the kitchen

    Yesterday's goals did not go so well
    1. Drink 8 cups of water....:) yes
    2. Workout at least 1 hour today. ...(if hours of housework is a workout, then yes)
    3. No Coffee :( (had 2 cups)
    4. Update measurments. :(
    5. Spend time on me: do hair & nails. :(

    But today's goals are:

    1. Drink 8 cups of water.
    2. Workout at least 1 hour today.

    Happy Friday everyone !!! It is rainy and windy, but it feels good to be home. I had a good night's sleep last night and ready to start the day.

    My goals for today

    Journal my food honestly
    drink water and green tea
    to not stress eat, got lots to catch up on for work, will probably put in some overtime.
    clean my two bathrooms and kitchen (deep clean)

    4. 2 miles.--A little over 1 and some gardening.

    I am feeling achy and tired. Two family members are sick and I think they gave it to me! I'll see how the day goes but here are my plans.

    2. Lots of water!
    3. Healthy choices and portion sizes.
    4. 2 miles and strength exercises.

    Today's goals for me:

    I'm frustrated that I can't breathe and am not feeling well enough to go to the gym and have a feeling I'm not going to be happy with the scale as a result. I know my body needs a break and time to recover, but it's hard to accept not working out when I'm trying to develop new habits. Saying a prayer for patience and the ability to breathe and not cough like crazy.

    Felt icky yesterday and didn't get here. Had an okay day but no exercise to speak of and not the best food choices at times, either. I don't feel much better today and am going to take it easy but watch the foods! Lots of soup is on the menu today, I think.

    2. Lots of water!
    3. Healthy choices and portion sizes.
    4. Strength exercises if I'm not too achy.

    Wow, I have not posted here for 10 days. UNacceptable.I need this challenge & I need my fellow challengers! Happy Monday all now let's get this week off to a good start!

    Goals for Thursday (2/12) were:
    1. try to take a rest day-what is that?
    2. make delicious food for my college son's visit
    3. work on the old procrastination list

    I completed all 3 of these goals.

    Goals for Today are:
    1. to make my morning workout a priority (C25K & dogwalk)
    2. work on the procrastination list
    3. figure out dinner & grocery list

    start my tax prep (This is on my procrastion list as I have let my record keeping slide, and now it's time to catch up)
    reservations for our summer vacation
    30+ minutes aerobic exercise
