I doughnut shop in Chicago called Amy Joy's. I couldn't eat doughnuts for years after working there.
The cool part though was that we were allowed to take two dozen home at the end of our shift. My brothers would meet me to escort me/them home.

    Mcdonalds is my favorite food

    I love eating bigmac

    Double cheeseburger

And Junior chicken with fries and diet pepsi as a drink(because mcdonalds is too stupid to have no sugar teas)

Please tell me the worst nightmare. You can even mail me, so anyone working in mcdonalds wont find out.
I really need a reason to stop loving mcdonalds.

My first official paid job was typing up numbers for a market research company from paper forms into a computer. 4 to 6 hours of digit - Tab - digit - Tab - digit - Tab - digit - Enter - digit - Tab ................

Boooooorring. But very good money! Fell asleep at my desk once. LOL

Dont get me wrong, the food tastes mega good. Im healthy and dont even eat fast food now, tho its not the food itself, as wildly gnarly as it is, tho the workers; specifically the cooks.
    Theyre not too clean :S
In fact they are full of spite. Its not made w/ love, its made w/ rebuke.

I was 14 years old and I got a workers permit. I worked at a hospital in the physical therapy department as a Rehabilitation Transporter Aid. I took patients back and forth from their rooms to their therapy, assisted in giving whirlpool baths, changing cot sheets and cleaning the therapy rooms. Back then I though I wanted to be a nurse... glad I changed my mind! LOL :)

Barista for Community Coffee. Well, technically barista-in-training. I was hired for the holiday season influx, this was back in 2010, I was 20. Had to buy my own uniform (aka black polo and black pants with black shoes) and, grossly enough, borrow another employee's hat and apron. The first day wasn't so bad, my manager was awesome and all I really had was a 4 hour shift on the register and in down time I cut up lemons and wiped tables. Second day, literally the day before Thanksgiving, I was on an 8 hour shift and to be trained by the lead barista since the manager had off. Woman was 20 minutes late for her shift and then had her headset set to universal (meaning everyone plus the people at the drive-thru heard her) and she had a half hour conversation with every cuss word in the book. Long story short she had me running here there and yonder, I got yelled at for cleaning the bathrooms because she forgot to tell me to ask someone to cover the register, and she even kept me an hour over my shift because no one else wanted to sort and stack coffee bean bags.

I ended up with a dislocated left knee due to the job, quit in January, and went through 2 months of physical therapy and 3 months of walking with a cane. It's permanently damaged.

That aside, I'd be careful about what you order from the pastry display at coffee shops. And don't eat the samples. The samples are usually the ones about to expire (we kept color coded stickers on the back of the name cards in the display to know when to throw them out) or ones they broke/overcooked/burned while handling or in the oven.

After working that job and coming home reeking from used coffee grinds (I handled filters the size of babies, no joke) I get physically ill just from smelling coffee.

Besides the little babysitting jobs, I started working at a pool every summer since I was 16 as a pool attendant.
