I was so exhasuted when I took it off I did not even check the number of steps. When I picked it up this morning I relaized just a few more would have put me over 12,000. Still a great day!

I'm joining you all for the first time. I just got my pedometer today, so I will start today. Since I do aerobics as my primary exercise, I am only going to set up my steps for the 3500 range per day to start with, for a total of 100000 for this month. I will post my steps for each week on Sundays, starting with tomorrow. I will reset my goal before the end of the month if I surpass it.

OOO I'm in for this month again! I want to hit 10,000 steps at least 10 times this month...I was usually around 8,000 or so in Feb. and managed to hit over 10,000 only 7 times. So this month I'm challenging myself to 10 times! here we go. I've been on OT at work this week...and it looks like it will pull like this through the weekend so I'm hoping to hit my first 10,000 on Monday!

Why not? I'm in! Right now my average from 3 weeks of wearing a pedometer was 5851, with at least two days a week hitting the 10,000 mark. Gonna try and hit it 4 times a week.0

Your welcome. But I inherited the group from LamIam. She was the one that got me rolling on step counting. Up until then my step counter was counting dust in the bottom of one of my drawers.
And you do not need to wait till the end of the month to post.0 -

**Well, as it turns out, I do a lot more walking during the day than I thought! I also forgot to account for the minimum extra 20 minutes I walk daily with jogging intervals. I'm raising my goal to an average of 6000 steps a day or 170,000 for this month....
