March Daily Step Challenge

OOO I'm in for this month again! I want to hit 10,000 steps at least 10 times this month...I was usually around 8,000 or so in Feb. and managed to hit over 10,000 only 7 times. So this month I'm challenging myself to 10 times! here we go. I've been on OT at work this week...and it looks like it will pull like this through the weekend so I'm hoping to hit my first 10,000 on Monday!

Why not? I'm in! Right now my average from 3 weeks of wearing a pedometer was 5851, with at least two days a week hitting the 10,000 mark. Gonna try and hit it 4 times a week.0

Treadmill first thing, then shopping. And my daughter is home for the weekend so we managed a short hike with the dogs. All adds up to lots of steps!

Your welcome. But I inherited the group from LamIam. She was the one that got me rolling on step counting. Up until then my step counter was counting dust in the bottom of one of my drawers.
And you do not need to wait till the end of the month to post.0 -

**Well, as it turns out, I do a lot more walking during the day than I thought! I also forgot to account for the minimum extra 20 minutes I walk daily with jogging intervals. I'm raising my goal to an average of 6000 steps a day or 170,000 for this month....

03/02= 3134 forgot my fitbit at home for the moring. it would have been about 3k more steps.
03/03= 3584 lazy day. but I did climb 8 flights of stairs.
03/04= ???? forgot the fitbit again. Must be because it is monday morning. I will walk 1.5 miles at lunch though.

Well, I found out that my pedometer was counting 2 steps for every one step that I take, so I'm going to reduce my goal to a midpoint number of 135,000 for this month. Tomorrow when I post for the week, my numbers so far will reflect my true steps.0

3/7 = 5,190 * Egads! I worked an 8 hour shift, went to my son's school to withdraw him before 10am.... and totally fell flat after skipping lunch (didn't get a 'lunch' break until 5:30 pm - worked 10am- 6pm) so didn't walk for exercise at all.0 -
