Oh, and by the way, I clicked on this thread because I thought the title was a general distress call, and I wanted to see what chick was even more on the down and outs in that department than me!

I tear up at just about any emotional movie but some of the worst weapers were: Click, Marley and Me, Courageous, We Were Soldiers, 50/50, Toy Story 3 (seriously, I was a mess in the trash furnace scene when they all held hands  ), We are Marshall, The Guardian (about the Coast Guard with Kevin Cosner and Ashton Kutcher)...to name a few.

Also, I can't handle those commercials for the shows about soliers coming home...

And the only song that's ever made me cry is "Just a Dream" by Carrie Underwood. If you are a military spouse - never listen to that song.

Those commercials are vicious. Especially with Angel by Sarah McClaughlin playing in the background.

Honestly - that is just a horribly sad commercial. It is probably the most successful commercial I have seen seeking donations...

To the OP, i will never watch "Marley and Me". I was glad to see the pic on the internet of the billboard for that movie where someone had spray painted "the dog dies" across the bottom of it. The trailers depicted it as a fun comedy. I hadn't felt that betrayed by marketing since the Mathew Broderick film "Project X", which was marketed as a Ferris Buehler's second day off type off film.
That said, i am a tremendously sensitive guy when it comes to movies. The worst ones for me are "Ice Castles"(the roses!), "Saving Private Ryan", and "Home Alone"(the old man gets me!).
    That's why i love comedies!

    The movie "Miracle"... Every time.

The song "Beautiful Goodbye" by Josh Kelley.
  • Old Yeller(can't believe it's only been mentioned once), and for that matter, almost any movie with dogs. Brian's song was one without a dog that brought the rain from my eyes.
