If you got it show it. Show off your hard work...I know I would.0
-
Or maybe, JUST maybe she's showing off her hard work.
Agree ^^^^0 -
Its one of those things that I just let slide. Gotta pick my battles.0
-
maybe they are proud of how far they've come - this website isnt really for children - stop being a prude.
also they are WOMEN not GIRLS, stop hating on your fellow females for being proud of who they are - that kind of woman-on-woman bashing isn't helping anyone.
arent you kind of summing up your jealousy by saying that they just want attention from the guys? that's the kind of insult i heard on the playground when i was 16..0 -
In time I hope to be one of them half naked girls posting a pic of MY HARD work on here. If this were facebook I would say maybe its inappropriate, but darn it this is a weight loss website, and sometimes the only way to show what we have done is to bare almost all of it, and besides that it is GREAT motivation, dont look if you dont like it.0

I generally let people do whatever they please and take silent disregard if I don't agree.0
-
Depends, I have no issue with modest bra/underwear or bikini pics showing off weight loss, anything past that though is kind of dumb to put up and that's when it crosses into attention whoring for me, personally.
Not sure if that makes sense or not. As long as it covers what should be covered I am ok with it.0 -
Progress pics? Sure, great. Be proud. Motivate others.
I have yet to see anything that wouldn't pass the "magazine cover" test - if it's been on the cover of a magazine in the checkout aisle of the supermarket, it ain't NSFW.0 -
Do you find the shirtless dudes tasteless and offensive too?
^ I second this question.
I third it. I am honestly very curious!0 -
Can I just point out that I checked your profile and you, yourself, have a half naked pic posted..sooo is this a joke or? :noway:0
-
When I get down to my goal you better believe I'm going to flaunt it!0
-
Or maybe, JUST maybe she's showing off her hard work.
agreed.
if you don't like, don't add them as a friend.0 -

She probably does, lol.0 -
I think they're confident and proud of the work they've done to look like that.
I think the women who complain are jealous and small people inside.
I think anyone complaining about seeing the human body on a weightloss site is nuts and should just deactivate now.
^What he said!0 -
Since its an 18+ site I don't think it should matter. There are plenty of men out there showing off their brand new six packs, doubt anyone thinks thats inappropriate (...seriously.....keep posting those.....mama like O_O)0

^^ This!

The amount of forum topics complaining about what other people do wrong is just as if not more exasperating than what the topic is about. Everyone is so concerned about others, just worry about yourself!0
-
yep hardwork! I will be taking my top off in 20LBS time. I might even remove my bra...0
-
Or maybe, JUST maybe she's showing off her hard work.
Going to go with this^^^0 -
It's a new sense of confidence, so keep it up. Also one of your pictures linked from your profile is one you might consider questionable.0
-
Honestly, that they're starving for attention. There are pics that show hard work which are awesome.. then there are pics that just show T&A.
I got two real smart Alec responses to this but I'll decline to post them since Im already on mfp probation.
To the poster I think people think that because this is the internet that we are not still in the real world. You will always have women and men who dress and pose provocatively.0 -
I'm showing off my hard work. I've never had so much confidence as I do right now, and I'm gonna show of what I've been working so hard for. And guess what? When I reach my goal, you bet there's gonna be a pic of me in a teeny tiny bikini all up on MFP because I'm PROUD of my body and my success!!
Plus, people could stand to lighten up a bit. The human body is beautiful, and I haven't seen any pics on this site that I would find to be raunchy or inappropriate.0 -
What is your opinion on girls that take pictures of themselves showing off or flaunting "their goods "in their bras, or arms covering what should be x rated? And post it on here? How much skin is acceptable to show in a photo? (and I'm not just talking about the bikini pics). Isn't this a fitness site?? Well I'm on here to get help with weight loss and fitness. I really don't need to see pic that you might be on a porn site. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great if a girl has enough confidence to show themselves off like that, but can't we keep it tasteful? I'm sure she's posting the pictures to get attention from guys or maybe even other girls... Anyways I think its extremely distasteful and should not be allowed
this is trolling.... ignored

Troll to the max... notice how she hasn't come back to defend her views? She just wanted to start **** to get people up in arms for entertainment.0 -

If you got it, flaunt it. That's my motto.. unfortunately for me, right now, I don't got it.0
-
I think they are tremendously honest, and brave especially at first! Once they are all hot, they are showing off, but that's the freaking point!
Takes a lot of hard work to look good half naked.
edited after reading the posts and seeing the consensus of this being a little of the old trolling. I still stand behind my opinion.0 -
MORE POWER TO THEM!!0
