Wat the fck is that? Please speak correct English please. Thank you!

Hmm, what does it mean in the context to which you refer? I am a geocacher and swag is the term used for trade items.

I have quite a few in mind right now but I think they've all been accounted for already. Actually had to stop reading the posts because I was starting to have a small anxiety attack. :-/

    "Stupid B****!"

I HATE when men say this!!!! *luckily they don't say it to me just at other women when driving or shopping, etc.*
I say that about women all the time. Usually the ones that pull out in front of me and drive slow. THERE'S A WHOLE ****ING LANE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF ME ***** MOVE THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY!

Then they look at me weird when I speed pass them and then reclaim my spot in front.

I also call them stupid ***** when they stare at me weird because I'm trying to get something from an shelf and they're taking up the whole freaking aisle. And don't get me started on the gang of females that like to walk extra slow at the mall while I'm trying to get somewhere. MOVE THE **** OUT OF THE WAY!

No one likes a stupid *****
I, too, hate stupid *****es.. They make the rest of us look bad but I REALLY hate the one's in the movies that try to run from the killer in high heels.....

    "FML" I hate that ... Really here's a gun eat a bullet!

THIS TOO! Especially when referring to stuff like "FML big exam tomorrow," "FML I just ate way too much peanut butter" WHAT?

I feel old...don't even know what FML means....

    It means F**k my life.

    Thanks, I didn't know either.
  • this one was probably said already but "muscle weighs more than fat" NO it doesnt. a pound is a pound.
Muscle does weigh more than fat by volume, and that's exactly what people mean when they say that.

i say, say what you mean, and mean what you say. muscle does not weigh more. period.

It seems you are the one not saying what you mean. If you mean a pound doesn't weigh more than a pound, then say that. If someone else talks about fat and muscle why assume they have a pound of each or that they even use pounds as a unit of measurement? You do know what happens when you assume, right?

i meant a pound is a pound. and thats what i said. and it doesnt matter really what they use as a unit of measurement. any "unit" of muscle weighs the same, as that same "unit" of fat. they just take up different amounts of space. the phrase is flawed in that it does not clarify. and it drives me crazy.

No, any unit of muscle does not weigh the same unit of fat. Only the same unit of weight measurement weighs the same, and that's where the assumption part comes in. Because a cubic inch of muscle does not weigh the same as a cubic inch of fat.

You are assuming they mean a weight measurement, which is really assuming they are not all that bright.. It seems far more logical to assume they are of at least average intelligence and they mean volume.

im not assuming they mean weight, the phrase is muscle WEIGHS more then fat. thats not in any way an assumption. and i agree that the same unit of weight measurement is what weighs the same. knowledge aside, the phrase is flawed. not to mention, SO many people dont know this information. with weight loss, muscle gain, etc. there is so much information that newbs recieve, i just think that the information they recieve should be correct and not under the assumption they know that by that phrase we mean density, not weight. which is the word used.

When people use 'literally' when they really don't mean 'literally', but more likely 'figuratively' . As in, "My head literally exploded." or "My eyes literally fell out of my head."
Another is using the word unique, especially with other adjectives. "That's the most unique outfit I've ever seen." Unique means it's the only one like it. It can't be most, more or somewhat unique. Either it's the only one, or it's rare or it's common. Something can be very rare, but it can't be very unique.

  • Can I ask you something?

Ummm is saying no going to keep you from asking me? Didn't think so, so just ASK! :grumble:

I usually say, "You just did." Which is equally annoying, or maybe slightly more so.

I'm going to start saying that to them! Thanks!

A other people have said repeatedly to you, when people say "muscle weighs more than fat" they mean by mass. Muscle takes up less space than fat, so by mass is weighs more. If you took a chunk of fat and a chunk of muscle the exact same size, the muscle would weigh more. Muscle DOES weigh more than fat, by volume. And that's what people mean when they say it. AND THEY ARE RIGHT.

In weight loss, it means that you can lose inches without changing weights, because you're burning fat but building muscle, and since by mass muscle weighs more, you can become slimmer, without losing weight.

"Irregardless" Sorry, the word is regardless. Only politicians say irregardless, and that should be the best reason not to use it!

"I go..." Someone is telling you about a conversation they've had: "... and I go, 'You can't do that!', and he goes, 'just try to stop me!', and I go, 'maybe I will', and he goes.....

"Here's my ask" Really, your going to use a verb as a noun?

"Can you status that?" And here we use a noun as a verb!

And, one that I use too much...

    "Just sayin!"
  • that's exactly what I was gonna say! it irritates me to no end!!!!!!
