1- add a mandarin orange to it.
    2- eat it plain
3- add 1 tbs of yogurt to it and mix well.
  • 1/2-1 Cup of it with 1 packet of sweetener and 2 Tbsp of Cocoa Powder equals COMPLETE CHOCOLATEY UBER-AWESOMENESS.

I tried this for dinner....it was delicious and filling!

Wow! So many great ideas. I use no fat cottage cheese plain or with fruit but I have used it, and it can be a replacement for: sour cream; yogurt; mayo; creamy dressings
all of which I also get in no fat and/or lite versions. Hmmm, how is the easiest way to copy to a recipe folder all these great recipes and ideas? And what does "bump" mean? Lol, I am new at all of this! PS and I would like some friends!

Try slicing up some romain hearts lettuce, top with 1/2 cup cottage cheeze, 1/2 cup white tuna in water (drained), salt and pepper. Love this for lunch, you can have quite a bit of the lettuce.

I eat it with apple sauce all the time and LOVE IT!

I have also used it in place of ricotta cheese for italian dishes. My husband and daughter LOVED the lasagna I made last week with it!

Cottage cheese with pineapple mixed in or Mandarin oranges, pears, peaches and the strawberries sound yummy too. I eat mine with pineapple every morning after my work out. Great source of protein.

I'm a purist - I love it plain with a ton of black pepper.

That's how I love it too. A TON of black pepper.

My favourite is a wrap with diced dates and dried apricots, fill up with salad. It's good to mix the dates and apricots with cottage cheese an hour or 2 in advance (or make the wrap in advance), so they soften a bit.

Some of my friends use it to stuff pasta (instead of ricotta) and I plan to do that in the near future. I like it plain, with beets, asparagus, or with fruit. It is good on garden salad. I've also used it in a fruit & cottage cheese blend - pureed in the food processor -that you freeze and eat later (bananas, mango, pineapple).
