Any 40-something women with no kids? Rare, I know.

I'll be friends with just about anybody. I was curious if there were women out there like me with no kids. It's great to meet people in common and I'm finding it' not common to be kid-less in your 40's! Please add me!

I'm 40 and no kids! I might want to someday, but I'm fine with it if I don't. I like things they way they are! :)
I just sent you a friend request, BTW.

I will be 39 this year..no kids and no plans on ever having any.
  • I turned 40 in January and no kids...yet. I got married 7 months ago, and never in my life did I ever imagine that one day I would be married and discussing having a baby. So, if you want to add me now and then get rid of me if I get pregnant, I'll understand!

Me too, and will not be having them by design. I had a tubal ligation when I was 35 as my method of birth control!!!

It's not rare at all! At least not where I live. I'm still in my 20's but I know I won't have kids in 10 years.

You are so not alone. I'm 40. Never had children. Don't plan on having any. And I have never been married, either. I'm staying away from getting any cats, lest I slip into Old Maid Scary Cat Lady status. :) Loving my life just the way it is.

This is what I want. I'm 23 and have never liked kids nor been interested in having kids. It's nice to know this!

Wow, this group of women is great! People always say things or comment on the fact that I don't want kids.... ever! I'm content with my husband and 3 wonderful dogs. Its nice to know that there are others out there. I'm in my 30's so I don't count as "40 without children"

I'm 44 and my "kid" is about to graduate from college...does that count? I certainly don't have kids anymore! LOL

It's going to be great to be an empty-nester @ 45! My hubby and I are both losing weight, doing the same program, and we hike togehter every weekend. It's almost like when we were kids. We're going to start taking some hiking trips soon & camping overnight. Won't that be romantic?!? :blushing:

I actually DO have 4 cats...so can you say CRAZY CAT LADY!?!? I don't care, call me crazy. Life is good - I am blessed. I should also add that I have a step-daughter from a previous marriage and we are still very close. So I can relate to step-moms, for sure.

Just so everyone knows, I never really wanted to have kids. People kept telling me that I would change my mind or that I would be missing out but none of that has applied to me. I have no regrets. Hubby and I love life the way it is. Someone mentioned that their pet is not a substitute for a child. I agree with that, except my "kids" think I'm their Mama and I'm happy to oblige.

    So happy to meet everyone!
