This is a great help. I had been sticking to my 1300 calories a day and over 2 weeks I lost 5lbs which is great. I then started to cycle to work and go to a lunchtime fitness class at work Mon - Fri but have not been eating to compensate for this. Most days I still have between 450 -1000 calories left to eat. Over the 2 weeks that I have been exercising I have not lost anything!!! I will try to eat more and see if it helps.

This is great! It confirms everything I've been learning from several different sources since I started my new life. slow and steady weight loss through clean eating, frequent, regular small meals, good mix of exercise that includes weight lifting. So simple and effective, yet not simple enough for thos poor folks who pursue a quick fix.
