when I alternate a higher calorie day with a lower calorie day (think week two of 17 day diet) I get past my plateaus0

Thank you for your post as I have just experienced my first plateau in my weight loss journey- how frustrating!!! I did some of the recommendations that you posted and I am back on track now- it is just nice knowing that I am not doing this alone. I have a great support system from both MFP and from my family. My husband even boosted up his workout just to help me through:) that difficult time as he knew how hard I had/have been working. Thank you again.0

Great article. Have plateaued and feeling hungry all the time. I plan to start over and go back onto protein rich diet shakes and do some weights based exercises such as Bodypump. Will let you know how I get on.0

I gave myself 2 weeks of not worrying and ate upto 1900 cals as calculated on another website ( recommended butcan't quite remember) I started my usual routine again but contined eating 1900 cals and hey presto am losing weight again! Looking forward to getting to my final target! Thanks for the advice0
