I will admit....I have recently done an overhaul on my friends list....had to be done!!!! That being said...I could use some more motivating friends LOL0

I don't think I've ever cared that people have deleted me. I know that everyone on here has their own agenda and if I'm not helping them get where they want to be, I'm ok with them deleting me. That being said, I have a really small and super supportive group of MFP buddies that keep me inspired daily. Glad to have those that want to be on the journey with me ON the journey with me. Glad there is you, Beef!!

I delete people often...
I don't like an abundance of negative statuses, obvious starving of oneself to lose weight, people that don't log in, people on my friend's list that don't post anything and I know nothing about them, and then I have the occasional "this person just annoys me."

Like with Facebook, I generally have no clue how many friends I have and would only notice if this was someone with whom I interact on a daily basis. Or if they sent one of those "We can no longer be friends because..." messages.0

i had to to delete some who routinely ate below 1000 cals!!
also i delete people who add me without a message and then promptly proceed to totally ignore me after that.0 -

When someone deletes me I just assume they have a low tolerance for awesome!

I have been deleted recently, and by friends who I talked to a few times a week. I have asked both if I did anything to offend them, no reply. There have been others who I barely knew, I can deal with that. I am starting to wonder though why people who I would call a friend have walked away without a word. :frown:0

Yeah I don't delete unless you are out of line and disrespectful. You never know what may take a person over the edge. Well, if someone does not want to be friends...such is life.

I prefer to do the online version of "the fade." In real life this involves slowly fading people out of my life: Taking a long time to return calls, being "busy" when they want to hang out, forgetting to keep them updated on things that are important to me, etc. Online, this is more difficult, so I slowly fade out my interactions, then delete. Yeah, I'm mean. But, really, would you want to be friends with someone who doesn't want to be friends with you? nope!0

I delete people if they don't post anything for a long time. I figure there's not much point in keeping them around if there's no interaction.
