Eggs - Why do people not eat the yolk?

    So, I've incorporated boiled eggs in my breakfast for quite some time now, but notice that a lot of people throw away the yolk and only eat the egg white. Cholestorol issues perhaps? Whats are the pros vs cons of eating the yolk?

    YES!! Because each egg has over 300 calories!!

    What kind of eggs do you buy?? Ostrich? Large white eggs I buy at roughly 80 calories each

    cholesterol isnt the problem. saturated fat is.
    if you wanna decrease your cholesterol - eat less saturated fat, and i guess decreasing cholesterol intake will help too.. im not going into the biology of it, but it'll work.

    Really? If you eat real food, from a farm not a factory, and you control your calories, I don't think you'll go wrong. You have to be very kranky (or very ill) to eat like this.
