I don't think men and women in relationships communicate well, or if they do, one comes on too harshly, or the other takes it too personally. Too many relationships are broken because she didn't tell him this bothered her and she couldn't take it any longer, or vice versa. My husband is very affectionate, and some days it just drives me nuts. Over the years, I have calmly and nicely asked him to not go so overboard with kissing me and stuff. He would feel bad, but would back off so to speak for a while. I'm very appreciative of his affection, because I know many women eventually feel like "he doesn't love me anymore. he never kisses me or says I love you anymore." And the same goes for him. If I am getting on his nerves with something, he gently tells me about it and I try to change my ways.

And by the way, he has two hands, he can make his own damn sandwich. I make my own, why shouldn't he make his own? :noway: (oh, yes I did say that)

Case in point:
The View, where a bunch of women get paid to sit around and complain and insult men for one broadcasted hour each day.

Also,
Every sitcom where the stupid fat slob is married to a thin, pretty, smart lady who bosses him around and proves he's wrong all the time.

It's not just the forums, it's society, where women supposedly crawling out from under oppression and tyranny, and fighting back. Right. Because relationships are going to work out really well and society as a whole will prosper when the sexes are trying to belittle each other. I think the constant complaining is a huge disrespect to men who deserve better. And the condescension women get for being "emotional" really just pokes the bear, so to speak.

Why not treat each other with dignity and kindness, and when you have something you need to say, tell it to the person who actually needs to hear it, but say it in a way that brings resolution, not more conflict.
All we need is not just love, Beatle fans, we need a dose of respect, too.

Listen, I'm just as emotional and hormonal as the next gal. You know what I do about it? I apologize to my man for acting crazy and not listening to my rational brain. You know what I get in return? Kindness, support and hot action! Give it a shot, you may like it.

I think there is a difference in self-degrading submission and just being able to admit when we act like psycho biatches. Because I can think of more than one time that I've acted like a lunatic instead of stopping and thinking about a situation rationally...I think we all need to be able to admit when we're wrong! And if admitting I've acted like an idiot (when I really have acted like an idiot, not just saying it to end a fight) results in some good sexin', that's a win-win in my book.

This is going to start trouble, but I get annoyed by women "catering" to their man, it's usually the one's that aren't married!

Nope. I'm married and often I cater to my husband, often he caters to me. It's called give and take. I love him, why would I not want to make his day better when I can?
