BMR: 1839.5
Calorie Goal: 1200
thinking of dropping it down to 1000 and relying on burning calories from exercise to determine the rest of what I eat... hum hum hum
keep it at 1200 minimum, or else you may actually start gaining weight. you can also cause significant health problems that way...0 -
BMR: 1649

Wait...why is everyone eating below their metabolic rate?!?!?
Are we creating an army of Skinny Fat people?!?!?
TDEE is what you eat under to lose fat.
BMR is what you eat under to lose lean mass.
I think 95% of them are confused!
Well that depends on results really.

Caloric goal 1940 (to lose 0.5lbs/week) this works out to be about a net of 1700.
PS: you should be netting at least your BMR or higher if you have less than 50lbs to lose.0 -

Have I been reading many of the threads wrong? I thought the goal was to NEVER eat below BMR? I recently increased my calories so I could stay above this and still below maintenance. Either way, I guess I'll stick with it for at least a month and see what happens. I workout, I eat healthier than I used to so I figure what I'm doing now is better than what I was doing before.0 -
