    Working towards eating 1800 calories every day or at least make that my average over a week.

    I've been increasing my calorie goal from 1200 by a 100 every 2 weeks and my goal this week and next is 1500. I'm eating around 1700 a day once I've allowed for exercise.

    It all makes sense in my head even if it doesn't in writing ;)

    so if you eat below BMR, EVEN if that is OVER 1200--then is still considering starving yourself?

    that would not be a general view, no.

    TDEE is around 2500 if I workout 3-5 days a week, I aim for calorie intake of 2000.
    Sometimes I'm full at 1800 and othertimes I'm craving foods and have eaten 2200.

    thinking of dropping it down to 1000 and relying on burning calories from exercise to determine the rest of what I eat... hum hum hum

    keep it at 1200 minimum, or else you may actually start gaining weight. you can also cause significant health problems that way...

    TDEE is what you eat under to lose fat.
    BMR is what you eat under to lose lean mass.

    I think 95% of them are confused!

    Well that depends on results really.

    Skinny fat - the newfound "diet" word.....

    Caloric goal 1940 (to lose 0.5lbs/week) this works out to be about a net of 1700.

    PS: you should be netting at least your BMR or higher if you have less than 50lbs to lose.
