Raisins or sugar free syrup, but lately I have tried it with unsweetened applesauce and cinnamon.

Any flavor of Yogurt. So yummy and filling!
  • While cooking:
Cardamom, cloves, allspice, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla bean paste. 1/2 water and 1/2 coconut milk.

    After it is finished:
Muscovado sugar, browned butter, ground almonds, almond milk (unsweetened), and toasted hazelnuts.

i chop an apple in tiny pieces, no need for anything else, however, i just read above peanut butter would be tasty to swirl in with the apple

Thanks to reading this I just made mine with cinnamon and nutmeg, some vanilla, and then after cooking i threw in a hearty dollop of plain greek yogurt, maple syrup, and fresh strawberries! i like the creaminess from the yogurt! Great suggestions!

I'm going to try peanut butter tomorrow. I have used raisins and cinnamon, that's really good. Or maybe a few chopped nuts. I also saw a recipe with yogurt added to the oatmeal and some strawberries. Boosts the protein and tastes great!

I loooove bananas and almond butter in my oatmeal. However, that usually ends up being about 400 calories. So when if I'm trying to have a less caloric breakfast, I mash up a couple of blackberries into my oatmeal instead
  • Hi, I must say i like granola, that's if it is plain oatmeal. someone at work put me on using half and half ( the lil shots that cafes have) instead of milk it was good, but now I'm wondering about the calories. Have a good day

Just discovered this morning: In the last minute or so of cooking, I cracked an egg into the oatmeal and covered it up to let it "poach". Once the outside of the white was mostly cooked, I broke it up and mixed it all in to let it finish cooking from the heat of the oats. Then I topped it with a splash of maple syrup (Can't fight my sweet tooth, so I don't even bother trying lol). Very yummy!
