I'm 5'4 and have been maintaining 145-150lbs since Sept 2010. I'm not sure why I originally picked 150, but it seemed like a good number when I was over 200lbs. I find that it is an easy and comfortable weight for me to maintain. I don't have to workout like crazy and I can basically eat what I want, in smaller quantities. I know the "weight charts" put me at the high end for weight where I am, but I'm happy with it. :)

You give me inspiration, I'm hoping to make it to where you are now!

So a couple of years ago I got down to 149 (from a high of 191) and felt awesome! I gained a few pounds back, and am slowly working my way back down again. I think I would be thrilled at 135, but would be very happy at 140ish.
  • I'm 5'4 and my ultimate goal weight is 130. Right now, I am just giving myself small goals. For example, I started at 154, so I made my first goal to be 145, and once I get there I will change it to 130-135. And once I get there (which I will!!) then I will see how my body feels and if I can push myself to lose more, as long as I can stay strong and healthy. Skin and bones is NOT sexy!

Good luck to all of you!!

I am 5'4" and my physician-approved goal is 125 pounds. I weighed that much for years after I gave birth to twins, so it is realistic for me.

My original goal was 140. Now that I've hit that, my new goal is 120. I want to be trim & fit!
  • 140lbs. It was the lowest weight I had ever been in my adult life. I felt confident and strong at that time.

130 lbs. I feel like I have a bigger frame so I might look too thin less than that. Who knows, we'll see when I get there!

I have a medium-large frame and I'm naturally athletically built, so I am aiming for 165 to start, then I will evaluate from there. Although Im an apple shape, I have been around 170lbs years ago and I didn't look too bad. Eventually, I would like to get down to 140-145, with a lot of muscle :)

My first goal is under 200. I set my end gw on here to 160. After that I would really like to get into a healthy weight for my height which, I think, higher end is 145ish. I would love not to even be in an "overweight" category. My sw was 292 in jan 2012.

I'm 5'4" and my goal weight is 125. I've been down to 110 and that was way too skinny. I remember I started feeling 'fat' around 135
  • I have mine set for 150 for now. I have a large frame and am not looking to be a skeleton, I want to maintain some of my curves. I'm aiming more for a size 6-8 jean, rather than a specific weight.

I'm 5'4", medium frame, and feel too plump and uncomfortable at 129. I am aiming for 123. I think it really depends on your bone structure. I read somewhere years back (I'm 63), that 5 pounds for every inch over 100 pounds. So, 5'4" would work out to be 120 pounds. But, again, bone structure is the key - small, medium or large? Also, it depends on where you feel your best. You don't want to be too thin. I have chunky thighs and calves, so I am not thin by any means.

I'm 5'4 and small framed. Started at 134 (been as high as 144) and am currently at 124. My goal weight is 110. That's when my stomach is flat.

Well I started my journey last september at 210-215 and my current wt is176. My goal is to be around 145 and I have a medium frame. And like others have said...that could change when I get there.
  • I'm also 5"4 and I'll be happy to get down to 145 (at 179 right now). I went down to 133 when I was really sick a few years back and I found I was too thin, I prefer to have SOME curves!
  • 135, hopefully with flatter tummy :)

I have what I consider a thick frame and I have chosen 135, I was at one point of my life 125lbs and I looked extremely skinny. So I will say take it one step at a time chose small goals and whenever you feel comfortable with your body you can tell what looks best for you.

    I'm 5'4, and started at 150lbs.
    Currently, I'm around 130-132lbs.
I'd be happy if I got down to 120lbs. Maybe I'll try to push it to 115 when I get closer to my goal.
