Maybe he needs to see a doc for erectile disfuntion or something Idk hope Im not coming off as offensive. But if that were the true issue it may be hard for him to admit to and it may make him feel insecure about being the older one in the relationship.0 -
My fiance is a gamer.. I know how you feel. Games get played over me, and recently its gotten better..
We make a comprimise and meet in the middle. We have sex, THEN he can play whatever he pleases and I leave him alone for a while. Sometimes we even game together.0 -

i maybe get it once or twice a month maybe 3 if lucky. been married 9yrs. and decreased over time after having 2 kids. i am a sex addict but he rather play on the computer or just go to bed...im at a loss as well.0

Having looked at the pictures in your profile, something's definitely wrong with your husband.i can walk in front of the game naked and get told to get out of the way.
I'm having similar problems with my wife. Once a year is probably one time too many for her. She will give in twice a year if I'm persistant, but then there are so many rules to follow and she puts forth no effort, it's really not worth the trouble.0 -
I'm in the same situation. He kicks me out at a certain time in the evenings so he can go play online with his buddies. He cancels plans with me when his online friends plan a tournament. I've asked why he doesn't want sex and he says he's just not interested. I've asked if he wants to play some video games with me and he says no because I'm not any good.
He's a PS3 guy and I'm an Xbox girl... we can't agree on a damned thing!0 -
Honestly if a guy is choosing video games over sex then either...
A) He's already pleasured himself (meaning he prefers porn/pictures)
He's got a low drive (which can be remedies by the doc)
C) He's got E.D. (maybe won't admit it since for many guys 100% of their self-confidence is attached to their penis)
or
D) He's tired of you (as in he wants other women and is tired of having the same thing over and over)
These are the only reasons I could think of as to why I'd lose interest.0 -

I am 21 my hubby is 22....I walk around naked alot and he will brag to his friends, but I cant even get him off of it so we can go to sleep at night. I rarely ever get him off for sex.....once a week sucks.0

I know I'm not the poster you're referring to, but I do all the work in that department and he still won't have sex with me! If I could hang a TV on the ceiling, I'd let him play his games while I had my fun, but I don't trust myself with hanging anything more than a picture frame...0 -

Thanks for posting this KaryLee, we've talked about this but until now I didn't realize how many of us there are.
In my case, I have been in councelling. He admits he prefers the game and acknowledges he is an addict. At one point he got tired of me "bugging" him to go out or spend time with me and told me to find a bf. I know from experience, that is not the answer. Now because I was a sh***y wife, he doesn't want to deal with me at all and buries himself even further in his game.
I have suggested he get his testosterone checked, he said he was not the problem. I have a high sex drive and I am getting more and more frustrated.
Maybe we should form a group? I really could use support from other women who have been there.

I'm an ex-gamer, and my husband is a gamer, and this is basically it haha.
And people don't understand it, but like gambling, and food, and sex, gaming is an addiction. Ever hear people say world of warcrack, or that such and such game eats your soul? its for a reason. it took me about 4 months to >completely< quit my gaming addiction, which also ended my weight gain, and depression. Gaming becomes everything to you. It's more important than damn near everything.
Really, the only fix is to get them away from the games, or let them know just how bad it is. Pack the bags and tell them you're out, hide the games in the truck of the car or something.
Or join them, and let the games eat your soul too.0 -
After the sex what is he going to do for the other 23 hours 55 minutes of the day? Play video games of course.0
