I met Jerry Mathers ("The Beaver") when I was little - I thought that was pretty cool!

I'm a country music girl...I've met the guys from Rascal Flatts more times than I can count this late at night, Jason Aldean, and Keith Anderson.

Johnny Depp twice. He was in town filming a movie. He was really nice to EVERYONE. He's shorter than I expected and he also has small and extremely soft hands.

I saw Fergie in NYC. My aunt talked to her but I didn't.

Too many to count, I worked in professional wrestling for 10 years with WCW/WWF(E)/TNA.

It's not anything to write home about, they're just people too.

Will Smith is probably the nicest and most genuine human being I have met that was an icon. I did security for an event he and his family was at and he cared very much about keeping his kids out of the attention and was just a really cool dude.

I do security so I have come across a few.

The best are usually those smart media types where they were semi popular but big businessmen and women who you recognize but aren't like oh hey that is so and so.

I recently spent a week with The Danish royal family.
I spent a whole summer babysitting for Daisy who is the daughter of Billy Connely

All were nice, normal people. Not A list celebs though in my opinion.

Alan Rickman - waited for him after a play in London and talked for a short time.
Derek Jacobi, Peter O'Toole, Sir Ian MacKellan (Gandalf), Maria Friedman who took me to her dressing room for a chat, I was a teen at the time. Tom Baker (4th Doctor Who) and a lot of other Dr Who cast members, Rene Auberjonais (Odo In ST DS9). Can't remember the others, but have met a fair few as I lived in London and worked in theatre for a short time.

I've met so many it's hard to remember them all. I've met members from pretty much all popular Christian bands in the past 7 years. I feel like that's it though. I've been in the theater with Keith Urban and Nichole Kidman, and they went to see "The Town" the same time I did, but I felt like leaving them alone was appropriate. I usually forget the people that are famous I meet. It's lost any importance to me now, they're just people with more money than I ;)

  • My most favorite celebrity meeting would have to be Weird Al Yankovic. He was doing a book tour for his children's book and stopped at my college campus!

I also met Bob McGrath (he was/is(?) on sesame street) as a child. I was dressed as a duck at the time. He was very nice, and I gave him a picture I drew of him and a few sesame street characters.

Other than that... I think that's it. I've seen many concerts, and I was 6 feet away from the New Kids on the Block... ;D

I lived in Chicago in the 1980's so I went to a number of book signings to buy famous people's books. I met briefly and had books signed from: Betty White; Maurice Sendak; Charles Kuralt; Garrison Keillor; Ray Suarez; and Mary Lu Retton.

My former boss met one of his racketball club members while I was working so I did personally meet Robert Conrad, the former star of the TV show, the "Wild, Wild West" back in the mid 1980's.

I saw Bob Newhart on his own walking through O'Hare International Airport in Chicago.

On State Street, I saw Captain Kangeroo walking on his own in downtown Chicago....with baby boomers stopping or following in awe!

Zac Brown used to eat at the hubs old restaurant and still eats at the one he's at now, so I've met him. I met Jello Biafra in Denver in 1994. When Green Day was still playing $5 shows at VFW halls, they would stay and party with us at a friend's apartment. The guys from Screeching Weasel were usually there, too. The Drop Dead Diva cast work out in the gym I work at. Jackson Hurst is hotter in person. Shia Lebouf requested my smoothies when he was filming down here. I grew up in Cheap Trick's hometown and everyone there has a Cheap Trick story. The hubs' band played with Gwar at the Scrap Bar a billion years ago. I guess it's all kind of cool, but they're just people.

Lots of pro wrestlers around here, too. Chris Benoit came in to my gym all the time as did his wife. He was very soft spoken. When he found out my dad was a big fan and home bound, he brought in an autographed pic for him. It was such a shock when I heard the news about him and his family. Very sad.
