The Obama family and I ate in the same restaurant at the same time last year (so much security I could only get glimpses of him). Does that count?:)

My uncle is a yoga teacher in L.A

He was having one of his yoga classes during the evening and Joy Fanning takes them.

I got to go with him one of these evenings but just brought along my knitting while he taught. My cousin decided to stay home and go swimming with her friends which she regrets because this evening Dakota came with Joy.

I sat by the sidewall with Dakota (who coincidentally also brought her knitting - she was making a scarf for Elle!) and knit with her the entire time. She's super funny and really giggly actually. We talked more after the class because we had to be quiet during the session but it was great to meet her!

When I worked at a movie theater I served Atreyu popcorn. Then when I was in box office I carded Pharrell of NERD. No idea who any of them where until after the fact. Oops?

LOL...I remember when I met Stevie Wonder. I was his green room server before he performed. When him and his family were leaving after his concert, he said to his kid, "Hey, can I drive home tonight?" and he busted out laughing...his kid just rolled his eyes, but I was cracking up...I thought it was hilarious!

Chuck Norris. He shops at the Whole Foods I used to work at!

I'm also friends with the bassist on Glee, and Katy Perry's guitarist.

Chuck Norris can cut through a knife with hot butter.

Only famous person I ever met was BB King. We went to his concert at a casino and afterwards he strolled around talking to everyone on the casino floor. Very cool and laid back person!

Santa Claus. He is the only famous person I ever met, but he was very nice. He even let me sit and his lap and tell him what I wanted for Christmas!

When I used to work the pool/beach at the Sheraton Waikiki, I met Jessica Love Hewitt. Really friendly and down to earth. She told me to call her "lLove.".

She's the only that I can remember.

I have met The Rural Alberta Advantage on 3 different occasions and they are one of my all time favorite bands!
Ohhh, I love them ... They seem like they would be nice people. I mean, they're from Alberta ...
I have met the lead singer of the Nationals
I met the band after a show they did with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah in Vancouver, BC. They were really nice guys, I got their autographs and talked to them about music and stuff. CYHSY invited me backstage and we hung out. They offered me a beer, but I don't drink it. I told them about Architecture in Helsinki (whom I had hung out with the week previous) and by the end of that month they were doing a secret show with them in New York. Pfft, no cred for the guy who told both bands about one another, haha.

I've met lots of other musicians. I also saw Leslie Nielson outside an apartment complex on Robson St in Vancouver not long before he died. I didn't say anything, I didn't realize it was him ... I wish I would have and had at least said told him how much I loved Spy Hard!
