Lead singer of the Offspring. He was super nice and very down to earth. The entire band Jackyl. They were a bit stick up, which I thought was amusing. I'm probably the only person here white trash enough to know who they were, though :P Kind of met a couple of the guys from NOFX, but they were EXTREMELY stuck up.

Kenny Chesney when I worked in the ER. I was totally clueless because I didn't know what he looked like. He looked like any other skinny redneck from around here. I also went on a date with Keith Carradine when I was 16!!! My parents didn't know it though.

A few years ago I was swimming in the open sea at a greek island and bumped into somebody. Stopped to yell at him and it turned out it was the then prime minister Karamanlis who is an avid swimmer. I scared the **** out of his security guys who caught up with us within seconds and probably thought I was a terrorist, but he was cool. I got scared much later when I realized that they could have shot me for this. :embarassed:

Howard Hewitt of Shalamar way back in '84 when both he and Shalamar were sizzling. He was handsome with a capital 'H'.

Carrot Top the comedian lives by me and I used to see him in my gym all the time. He was ripped (like steroid ripped) A few weeks ago he was having dinner at the table next to me and I'm glad to see he's off the juice.

I walked up to Patrick Ewing and Horace Grant in a bar once and introduced myself as a die-hard Bulls fan (even though Horace Grant didn't play for them anymore...)

I met Gary Fencik when I was little (die-hard Bears fan too) and he was really nice

Arnold Palmer waved at me on the golf course.

I met Fonseca (a Colombian pop star) in a restaurant in Bogota and asked him if he wanted to go sing karaoke with our group

My family and I got to go up on stage before the Jay Leno show when I was 16, and Jay made fun of my dad.

And my favorite, but it wasn't me - my good friend went to college with Matt Damon (before he was famous), went on a date with him!

I have been lucky to be able to work and work on several movie sets that allowed me to met and speak with several "famous" people. Some had egos that required KY to get into the door {Prince; Michael Jackson; Michelle Kwan} but most have been down to earth {The VanDyke family (****; Barry; Shane; Carey and my favorite Jerry); Robin Williams; Scott Baio; Tony Dow; Roy Abrahamson; Tobey Maguire}. Must say though Pam Dawber; Raymond Burr and Veronica Hamel were some of the most down to earth. Was invited to a wrap party with Burr and he did some of the cooking, can I blame him for having to be here.
    Many local sports celebrities.

I met and got to go in the back and talk to him for a while: The guy that played Austin on Days of Our Lives. He was at our mall years ago doing a promotion for Sears. When he got out of the limo I asked him if I could take a picture with him and then he asked me to come in the back with him until it was time for him to start meeting people.

I also met the guy that played Chloe's dad from Days of Our Lives too, he came to the same mall about a week later to do a meet and greet.

I have also see Wynona (sp?) Judd at the mall shopping with her daughter.

I also seen Miley Cyrus in my town when she was making her movie. I live in Tennessee.

And my mom said she use to hang out with Little Richard back in the 60s when he use to come to Nashville for performances.

I have met the lead singer from Nickleback and I made eye contact with Brad Pitt once in LA. I have also had my picture taken with one of the guys from The Blue Man Group after a show. I also stood behind Kyle Chandler (he played the main character in the TV series Early Edition) in line at the gift shop at an Astos baseball game in Houston. He was very quiet and did his best to avoid eye contact...he didnt at all seem like he wanted to be recognized.

Kind of met a couple of the guys from NOFX, but they were EXTREMELY stuck up.

Funny because I have had the same experience... For a band that spent their entire careers making songs about how un cool and unpopular punk rock should be they sure are full of themselves.

I have never talked to these guys, but every time I see NOFX in concert I think "Frat boys." Have met Greg Graffin (Bad Religion), Jerry Only (Misfits), Rory Henderson (lead singer of American Steel--barely famous but I love that band), and Kevin Seconds.

I went to school from 2nd grade-HS with Jeremy Renner and once got a ride home from Timothy Olyphant--he was a senior when I was a freshman in HS and my best friend had a wicked crush on him (both actors). I waited on Bill Walsh (49ers coach) in Tahoe in 1993, right after he got into the Hall of Fame. And I lived in Hawaii when "Lost" came out, and saw loads of the actors around town--Kate and Boone went to my gym, saw Kate and Charlie arguing about drain cleaner at Safeway late at night, saw Mr. Eko at a Hawaii Kai restaurant and Libby at Starbucks. I don't know any of their real names except Kate was Evangeline Lilly.

I worked in radio for a few years and currently work for a large beer distributor, so I've met several famous people. This past weekend I got to wear Norm Charlton's World Series ring (Cincinnati Reds)--as seen in my profile pic! I was involved in a celebrity softball game for charity, and he was on our team...he was super nice :)

I've met several athletes, a lot of musicians including Rhianna, Katy Perry, the Backstreet Boys (loooong time ago lol), New Kids on the Block, Pete and Patrick from Fall Out Boy, T-Pain, Sara Bareilles, tons of people on the Texas country music circuit (Kevin Fowler, Pat Green, Cory Morrow, the guys from Reckless Kelly, a bunch of others as well). Ryan Seacrest, Carlos Mencia, Ricky Williams, Vince Young...I'm sure there are others since there were celebs in and out of the radio station building every day and I've met several people through my current job, I just can't think of them!

Edited to add, Sandra Bullock and Matthew McConaughey (because they have houses here), and I see Lance Armstrong out riding his bike or jogging at this running trail I go to all the time. And I was on a flight with Jesse James one time from LA to Austin. He's actually really cool (you know, minus the whole cheating on his wife with porn stars thing) in person.
My husband did some of the electrical for Matthew McConaughey's new house! He said that his fiance is really nice, and heard Matthew in the background yelling at his kid to turn off the tv and play outside. lol
  • I met Reba McEntire's brother, Pake....

I've met Mike Ditka a couple times, I used to work for a hotel that used his name. He was nice... extremely tall and intimidating though. I've also see Hulk Hogan at Universal with his family, he cut us in line to ride the Hulk lol. I also saw Chris Farly and Nicolette Sheridan when I went to LA while they were filming Beverly Hills Ninja. When I was younger I met the band Sister Hazel because I won a contest and got to have dinner with them. I met ODB... I think that's the initials for the rap star when I worked at Sea World and yelled at him for cutting in line lol I didn't realize who he was but got in trouble for it. I used to see stars from a distance all the time when I worked at Universal Orlando.
