But I wanted to update my miles from last week as I got in two more beach walks before I got sick so another 5 miles. This brings me to 41.5 / 80 for the month. Hope I can move some miles by the weekend. Keep up the good work everyone!

Today: 2 miles walking the dog and a 10.9-mile bike ride in absolutely gorgeous spring weather. Wish I had time to do more--it is a picture-perfect day here in western Wisconsin.

Went for my first run in the new neighborhood and managed to get totally lost! Ran the first 40 minutes and then walk for an hour before I found our house! Even had to stop and ask for some directions. At least the weather is great and I enjoyed getting to know the area a bit!

@gehlerc - you are doing so well at both running and biking! Love it when you are on vacation.
Edited to say never mind about not being able to see the bubble chart - not sure what I did but all of a sudden the other tabs were there.
As for me, I ran a quick 3 miles today, after the knee specialist gave me the all clear to run as much as I want. That takes me to 40 miles and almost half way. Planning to get caught up tomorrow. Yay!

After a week of no gym time (from hurting my leg), I've returned today,and am SO ready to make up for lost time!!! Did 7.2 miles on the bike, and have 74.8 miles left to go. Still confident that I will complete my goal in time Keep up the work, everybody :happy: DON'T GIVE UP!!!!0

My @ss is quite sore from my workout yesterday but I fast walked with my furries for 3.5 miles and rode my bike 5.5 so now I am feeling less sore!

I took a brief hiatus from MFP, but I'm back and I'd love to join the May MYA challenge because it keeps me motivated. I'm giving myself a goal of 32 miles (2 miles/day). I started by running/walking 2.5 miles today!

7 mile run this morning - beautiful morning and I got my lazy butt out of bed and took advantage of it. Well, more like dragged my lazy @ss out of bed - almost talked myself out of running and into going back to bed, but thanks to this challenge, I didn't. So thank you to everyone - without you all I'm pretty sure I would still be the couch potato I was just 3 short months ago.

Updating my ticker. Should have probably taken a rest day today. My legs felt like lead. Only managed 15.7 today. But thats more than I would have done if I had stayed in bed like I wanted to when the alarm went off at 5. But I knew I wouldn't reach my goal if I didn't go out and ride. So I got up.

Walked 2 km today running errands. Too tired & sore from last night's basketball game. The 2-3 beers i guzzled afterwards didn't help either. A good night's sleep and I'll be all set to make up the miles tomorrow evening :bigsmile:0

I got in 8 miles today, which puts me over the half way mark and back on track. :drinker: To echo what others have said, I doubt I would have run so many days in a row and put in so many miles if not for this challenge. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And congrats to all of you who are on track to meet your goals (and to those who have heard the whooshing sound of flying by them).
