I have 2 coworkers that sit and text eachother all day. Its getting really annoying. :explode:
What do yours do?
That's none of your business unless you are their boss and it is affecting their performance. Get over it.
It is when they don't put their phone on silent!!!!!!! dinggggg dinnggggg dinngggg every two minutes...it's annoying!0 -
I have to add this...I have this other co-worker who when she gives me work she always (and I do mean ALWAYS) says "Here's a little more for you." No matter if she is giving me 5 things or 30 it's always "a little more." One day I am going to snap and run around my office screaming "a little more, I'll f-ing give you a little more."0

If they can pull their weight, I don't care what they do, but when they can't pull their weight and/or I'm cleaning up their messes, THAT pisses me off
I'm with this. If I can get all of my work done with a few texts thrown in, it shouldn't be a problem. I don't smoke, but half of my coworkers take multiple smoke breaks. I am usually done with my work an hour or so early, and always pick up any slack or extra work that others may have. If I get everything done, it shouldn't matter if I'm texting or not. I always put the client first, and my phone is always on mute.0 -
I've been trying to get a job, but you guys are making me kind of glad I don't have one. I forgot how annoying everyone else is.0
-
Ugh yeah. I think I am the only person at my job that doesn't smoke. It doesn't bother me that they do it, considering I was a smoker at one time and I totally get it, but it doesn't take 30-40 minutes to smoke. I think some of them have made a bad habit about calling up friends while they're taking their smoke breaks.0

I have something to add..
I have a work friend that ALWAYS bother me on break while I’m sitting and enjoying the little bit of free time I have away from my desk. First off, my headphone are in. When someone has on headphones it is an unwritten rule that you DO NOT attempt to carry on a conversation with them! So, not only does she disturb my groove, but then will complain about her workload and manager. Hello.. this is my break! I don’t give two rats azz about that right now!
ANNOYED TO THE MAX!!!!!!
 :explode:0 -
Mine takes dr's calls at her desk and I am now completely up to date about her yeast infection, staph, and the smell and consistancy of her bowel movements0
-
Only a minor annoyance, not really her fault that she is ill, but our receptionist has been off sick for nearly a month now which means me and the other admin girl have to take it in shifts to cover the reception, which means my usual work (of which there is volumes) just constantly piles up on my desk.
So I'll be glad when she's back and I can knuckle down with my work properly!0 -
There's a lady (at least I think she is a female) in my office that has appointed herself in charge of the break room. I call her the "kitchen nazi" and/or "Igor." Igor is OCD. She knows the location of every single last item, down to which way the pot holders hang off the microwave cart. Every morning I move something around, something VERY minute. She notices EVERY single solitary time. By the next time I go in, it's moved back to its rightful location.
Maybe I have too much time on my hands, but for her to investigate things tiny little changes in the break room... she needs a time filler.0 -
Apparently I have a sign on my forehead that says "therapist" because I have so many co-workers who complain about other co-workers to me. Not to mention there are a few Negative Nancys that drive me nuts. Can't people just be positive!?0
-
When I first saw this thread I thought it was going to give me ways to annoy my co-workers, ... but that wasn't the intention. I was happy that it evolved into that, now I am getting many ideas of things I can do to annoy others, .... THANKS!
This may assist... :laugh:0 -
The "Annoying Coworkers" I have had were all conveniently let go a few weeks ago!
Anything annoying anymore is just students who are socially awkward or expected annoyances like printers breaking down. I really like everyone I work with!0 -
i have no co workers, LMAO.......
i have no co-workers either! the last ones i had would sit around and bull**** all day......super annoying!0 -

What do yours do?
Um, I agree. How is that annoying?
One coworker (who blessedly is GONE from the office now and her job in August) sings, plays music loudly, oinks and WHOOPS! regularly -- and that's just a start.
The last couple weeks, several coworkers have been yelling loudly for an hour every morning and this morning someone was honking what sounded like a bicycle horn every 10 minutes.
It's called psychiatry. Fortunately, I don't have to go there very often.
lol
I work in that area!! haha! Well now I work with addictions so there is no more randomness. Now instead of patients telling me about the voices or seeing an amusing little dance from Dancin' Harold, they just ask when their next med time is every 2 seconds.0 -
I have one in the office next to me that does the low volume whislte with his tounge on the roof of his mouth to all sorts of old BS songs, annoys the living S out of me. He literally just whistled the "Thank God for Hollywood" song as I was typing this!:explode:0

I sit next to one of those guys that always comes into work when he is sick! take your sick *kitten* home!!!!
Sorry, if I don't work I don't get paid. I've come to work sick or hung over just because I have to.0 -
As long as we are fully staffed for the day we are supposed to get a 15 min break in addition to lunch. It annoys me when my coworker takes her 15 min break and THEN takes a bathroom break right afterwards. Or begins a personal call 5-10 min before her break time and then takes the full 15 min too. :noway:0

I used to sit in between two guys and omg their feet stunk.0

The one that does nothing but B*tch about their job
The one that comes in sick all the time, therefore getting everyone else sick0
