    I weigh myself on a Saturday morning when I get up, and in my pyjamas. The most important thing, I think, is to weigh yourself at the same time of day each week and with the same clothes on. This way you will get an accurate picture of your weight loss itself, which is presumably what you are after. Hope this helps.

    Hey, just something to keep in mind for those of you who weigh in at home, but also weigh in at the doctor--or those of you who wish you could weigh naked at the doctor!

    Just remember it doesn't matter what your number actually is...unless you are SUPER close to your goal weight (like 5 pounds away), it's just about progress!

    If I weigh 178 at home, but 185 at the doctor, but then I lose 5 pounds and weigh 173 at home and 180 at the doctor, it's just confirming your results! You've lost 5 pounds! Or even if the doctors says you've only lost 3 pounds, you've lost THREE POUNDS! Just thought I'd share, since positive thinking is the best remedy to being overweight or obese! I think sometimes we forget that it's less about the food and exercise than we think.

    Yes! definitely naked. also before water, coffee, eyedrops..after blowing nose if possible. A tad obsessive, I admit, but it gives me consistency & removes excuses.

  • I too agree with naked weigh ins bright and early after a bathroom break. I am one of the many who wants no excuses. I agree though weigh ins at the Dr. Office will have me heavier but as I'm only going once a month it should still show a trend of me "loosing" so my Doctor does know I'm working on things. I do take off my shoes at the Doctors every time though, lol.

    I weigh first thing after ive had a wee, just in my underwear. I weigh myself on the gym scales sometimes as it adds weight onto me because of my running shoes etc, so it motivates me to work harder!

    I weigh first thing in the morning, after I've gone potty, and always nude. I find even my light pajamas make a difference on the scale.

    Naked here... If I had clothes on and weighed myself I would probably then take them off and try it naked anyways, But I will weigh myself before and after workouts sometimes {weird but oh well}

    I weigh before and after workouts sometimes, too lol! Not sure why, guess I'm just curious. I tend to weigh a bit more post workout, but I attribute that to the liter of water I usually drink :)

    I do my regular weigh ins naked in the AM, and I usually only weigh in when I suspect I'll be pleased with the results. I hate putting that damn ticker any higher!

    For sure - and pyjamas ........ clothes and phones and keys and PDAs gotta weigh at least 3 pounds

    Sometime a second weighing after an intense walk and shower - just for amusement to see the temporary loss from sweating

    First thing in the morning, in a bra, panties, and tshirt... after pee.

    However, I will admit to sometimes refusing to eat or drink anything until I've gone #2, and THEN weighed.

    You weigh less in the morning. So Alarm, Bathroom (every oz of water counts hehe) naked on the scale. The best way. I weigh in every friday with my trainer, and every month check body fat % and measurments = arms, thighs, hips, waist. I wanted to add calves. Don't always count on the scale-I was 146 when I started waist 30 :sad: - 9 weeks later 136.5 pounds and -4 inches off the waist -3 off the hips from a size tight 7 to a 4-5 :bigsmile: . Trust the clothes and the way they dont fit. I lost fat and gained muscle form working out. :wink:

    I weigh after my workout in my workout clothes. I eat breakfast about 7:30 or 8 and then workout from about 10-11 and then I weigh.

    yes get weighed first thing in the morning with nothing on. only way ul no how much you weigh coz all clothes are different
