I'm in the same boat, thanks for the Topic, that was truly encouraging. I am at 198.4, 5'4" and started Monday, but am down 27 pounds from January. So I'm pretty pysched to be under 200lbs.

    I'm 5'5''
SW 210 (though my heaviest was 220)

    GW 145

Only advice I have is don't try to rush it. This isn't about being on a 'diet', it's about a lifestyle change that will make you healthy. :)

    HT: 5'3 1/2"
    SW: 229
    CW: 188
GW: 140 give or take when I get there

I mostly exercise with my Kinect, but I am starting a gym membership after I get back from vacation in a couple of weeks (to lift weights mainly). I eat real food, nothing "diet". I cook a lot from Cooking Light and Clean Eating.

I am 5'3 and when I gave birth to my son I was about 225 (yikes i know). When i started MFP i had lost some of the baby weight and was around 180. I now am down to 143 and can wear a bikini for the first time since I was 10. It definitely can work if you put effort into and change your lifestyle. Hence why I don't look at it as a "diet", it is a way of life. I want to be healthy and fit, not "skinny". GOOD LUCK!!!

I'm 5'4'' and started MFP at 203.4. I am happy to announce that, after a bit of a plateau, I am 142.8 as of this morning. My goal weight is somewhere around 120. I will have to see when I get there. :)

I'm 5'3 and my starting weight (before I found this site) was 233

    Current weight is 201

Goal weight is undecided. I'm pretty muscular and BMI says I should weight 140 or lower. I think I'd be happy at 150 though.

I'm wearing a sz 14/16 depending on clothing brand.

You can do it! This site is amazing, not to mention the people on it. Good Support! There are always challenges going on in the message boards My advice is to join one, Nothing motivates you more than a bunch of people trying to do the same thing you are! Good luck and feel free to add me!
