Hey there, I am on here logging to try and lose at least 60lbs. Currently 260 and would love to be less than 200lbs. So far 6lbs down, (started at 266). What I love about this site is everybody just is so friendly and moptivates everyone else, I have had a few bad days, but coming on here and getting peoples comments is just awsome, and being able to help others as well. If all else fails just to come on and have some fun , chatter, and have a laugh, which keeps you in a positive mood. We are all in similar boats so why not all help each other, through the power of cyber space. Add me and my wife (Shuttleworth12) if you wish, the more friends the merrier xx0

My goal is also much more than 50 lbs. But I am aiming for 50 lbs in this year. I have just started using MFP since last week.

I would very much like to lose 55 lbs. I'm 51 and eat a vegetarian diet and would like to make the transition to vegan, but seem to always backslide when I try. Anyway, today is my first day on MFP. You all are doing so well! I look to you for inspiration!0

I stared Februay 5, would like to lose 70 lbs and have lost 19 so far. As you get older, losing weight is more of an effort because our metabolism slows down. I struggle as do most and have some good days and some not so good. They key is to stay the course and NOT give up. I appreciate MFP and all the encouragement received from new friends. I wish you well in your journey and hope someday we can both say we DID it!0
