HOLY SMOKES, I knew you were awesome, but I didn't know you were THAT awesome!0 -
I can't find prom pix (wonder where that photo album is?!?!), but here's a pic from a formal event at college.
1987 - No idea how much I weighed then; maybe 125 lbs?
I know you will all appreciate that '80s hair:

Never went to prom. The night of senior prom, my three best friends and I went to see a movie. I believe it was "Logan's Run."0

I would like all the tall girls to notice my stance in both photos. It was the "drop your hip, put one foot way out, so you look shorter than your date without slouching" stance.
You know, I never had a boyfriend who was visibly taller than me. I'm 6'1.5" so that's not particularly surprising! I had to dance with this guy at my school formal who was less than 5' tall, and I was wearing heels, and in one part of the dance you had to be spun under your arm, and I had to kind of squat down and twirl while he stretched up as high as he could. Such an awesome moment for us both...0 -

I wish my prom date would have known this. Though 4'11" (me) and 5'9" + 3 inch heels = 6'0" (her) she needed to do more than fix her stance. Any taller and I would have been kissing her bellybutton. Puberty was cruel to me!0 -
I love this thread! Such a fun idea Loving seeing everyone's dresses, definitely my favourite part of the whole prom deal.0

I don't have any of my old prom pics I was in a couple of bad relationships that required me to leave more than a few things behind when I left and I think those pictures were lost in the shuffle. I DO, however, still have the dress that I wore to my junior prom and I am proud to say I CAN get into it again! I also have a bridesmaid dress that I wore 2 years after graduation that fits me pretty good right now. MAYBE I can get some pictures in them now and post them later on.0

You rock that dress even better now than you did then!0 -

Of course, I'm the tallest one in one of my favorite pageant dresses! This was my junior year--I hated going to homecoming && prom! =]0 -

How tall are you? You look stunning BTW! You would have hated to stand next to me. My junior prom I stood all of 4'11" LOL!0 -
I didn't go to the prom - I didn't have a date so I went roller skating instead - but I had a dress that I would have worn. I kept it and wore it last year to an 80s prom party.
Then, about 110 pounds and 18 years old. Last year, about 137 pounds and 38 years old.
This dress looks so beautiful on you!0 -
Where I would like to get back down to...
I have this EXACT dress. It was for my Grade 8 graduation.0 -
Oooh, 2008!
I'm not sure how much I weighed when this was taken! I didn't really care about my weight in high school because I was always pretty thin. I was probably around 135 or 140 or something!0 -
How do you post pics here?0
-
I was around 160-170 and 5'6" all through high school both dresses were probably a size 10. Whenever I look at these pictures I wish I wasn't so hard on myself in High School, I always felt huge. While slightly overweight, I definitely wouldn't mind being that size now.

I didn't go to any proms in high school. Which, I kind of regret. I went one homecoming but I can't find any pictures. I do have some of my senior pictures though. I'm 5'6" and was about 140 or so in these. I wasn't the tiniest but I wasn't nearly as huge as I had thought. Aside from these I hardly ever let anyone take my pictures. Apparently, I thought I was hideous or something.
This one my Grandma hated but it was always my favorite.
