I've lost 169 pounds since I began my lifestyle change on 4 April 2011, so almost 14 months. May has been an up and down month, but the scales are slowing starting to move again. I am dreading the possibility of the months long plateau I hear so many have as I still have about 60 pounds to go to my goal.0

I have only lost 21 lbs since Sept. '11..... the first ten came off within a week or two but the last ten I worked hard for. There was a period of 2 or 3 months where I lost and gained the same 3lbs.
Try not to get discouraged as the above results do not upset me all, I may not be at my goal weight but I am not entirely sure the "goal weight" is actually healthy for me? I fit into clothes I wore when I was 120, and I am 150 right now and my body definition looks better.
Ditch the scale and focus on body fat % or measurements.0 -

I started at 212lbs in the beginning of January and am now at 180lbs with a goal of a solid 150lbs. I have not lost any scale weight in a few weeks now, but have gained muscle and started a fitness bootcamp which I would reccomend to anyone that needs a little motivational push through a plataue. Group workouts are FANTASTIC!0
