    The fact that I'm not flexible enough any more for some really complicated yoga positions I used to be able to do easily! :( I'm only 27 and I can't lie on my stomach and bring my legs up from behind to touch my head... I used to be able to bring them to my nose!

    The fact that my nieces and nephews ages 2-7 know that they can instantly see a picture after it has been taken.

    I'm gonna be a grandma soon. Oh yeah and when eight track tapes came out , blow dryers and curling irons came out. Contioner for hair that was new and called cream rinse ! The first pc's and cells phones. I owned " tv tennis" ! Very first video game. I could go on and on ! I feel old !!!

    I was talking to a guy today and we both remembered how excited we got when our parents bought a colour TV and about how milk was delivered in glass bottles :laugh:

    I remember what T.G.I.F is and I am talking ABC programming not a restaurant.

    Having to change the rabbit ears from one channel to the next.

    I also started feeling old when they would play Nirvana on flash back lunch on the radio.

    The first home satellite taking up the whole back yard, and everyone going to the one house in the town to see the rich folks who could afford said satellite.

    I remember the video game cartridges we had to blow in to get it to work....

    Doing things legally ... like sneaking into clubs, actually going to work for money instead of getting an allowance.
    Looking at computers that can take floppy disks to get some files back only to have the sales rep laugh.

    I have a 7 year old son who told me the other day "you're too wrinkly". I am 26 years old, I do not have wrinkles.

    It's almost 10 years since I finished secondary school (high school equivelant).

    My little brother who is 8 years younger than me now goes to the pub with his friends.

    All of my school friends are married.

    Hey, Nina:

    I haven't lost many friends yet, but my parents are gone, most of my aunts and uncles are gone, and some of my cousins, too. It's that phase of life when YOU are the "old timer", and the kids and grandkids rule the world.

    I am on the planning committee for my 40th Class Reunion next summer................when the hell did THAT happen???

    Life is tough sometimes, ain't it?

    I graduated high school 15 years ago!!!!

    The music I grew up listening to is considered oldies

    I catch myself saying, " When I was your age........

    Hmm. I graduated high school 15 years ago......None of the other two apply to me.

    Today I bought gas and it was $3.67. When I started driving, it was about $0.90! Used to get mad if I had to pay over a $1. I'm only 35, but those prices make me so OLD.

    When I was in high school, there was a "gas war" going on in my town for a while (competition between the gas stations). Gas was .25. TWENTY FIVE CENTS a gallon..................that was in about 1971/72.

    Now? sheesh............................scary.

    Several of the tiny little kids I helped teach dance to and looked up to me because I was a principle have now friended me on facebook and are going to college.

    I remember them as little baby lions with tutus on their heads!

    wow, I hate to correct the PRINCIPAL on spelling..........but something tells me I must!!!!

    Two of my nieces graduating next month and my oldest niece (20) is having a baby!! I will be a great aunt at 40, LOL but what is funny is my sister will be a grandma at 43, ha ha.

    The fact that kids starting high school this year were born in 1998.

    Oh my god. I'm not that old but this fact made me feel that way. When I was in second grade my dad sat me down to tell me all about the "brand new middle school" our city was building and I would be in the first class to go through it but it wouldn't even open until... 1998. :noway:

    I remember danicin in the cluuuubs to Biggie - that's when he was alive....Gotta say "Gimmie the Loot" is one of my personal faves! It's quite funny to hear a white girl sing it too!
