Seeing the nickleback topic made me think of the best concert I've been to. Red Hot Chili Peppers. They are amazing. I went to see them in 2007 and I'm going to see them again in October. Section 1 Row G!!!!

So much jealousy.0 -
Muse in Chicago, front row in the center on the floor (awesome place to be, but I was a little afraid for my life a couple of times). Matt Bellamy threw his neon glasses at me0

I can't decide!
Aaron Lewis- very small venue, up close and personal
Shinedown, Chevelle, Halestorm and Staind - got trashed and it was over 6 hours of madness!
Lady Antebellum - right against the stage and they set up for every song right in front of me!
This summer I'm going to see Miranda Lambert in July and Blake Shelton in August so we'll see if they can top the others! :happy:0 -
I cannot just pick one, there are 4 shows that I went to last year that each had their own 'specialness', one they played a song that has only been played live 2 times before, another I had front row tickets, another was the first time I saw him and got 4th row tickets...0

-
Ray Charles - 2006. He never stopped moving.
Lenny Kravitz - 2012. Small venue, very close. He is a total rock star.0 -
Allan Jackson and George Strait in the new Brewers Miller Park.0

Tool
Cleveland 2x in 2001 (they somehow came twice on the same tour) and Detroit 1x in 2006 - all equally amazing0 -
It is hard to choose just one. I do think the chili peppers was my favorite though, because they played the entire show with lots of energy, then when they came out for the encore Flea was playing the trumpet. It was really impressive. They have to be in tip top shape to do what they did.0

I went to Ozzfest about 4 times in the past I don't know how many years and the Black Sabbath reunion topped all of the bands. Pantera came a close second.0

Red Hot Chili Peppers!!! I finally got to see them last month and I was blown away....been smiling ever since. I can die happy now :bigsmile:0

I've been to so many concerts it's hard to decide which one was the best. I guess for show it would be Judas Priest and Alice Cooper, but for the music, It's a tie between Fleetwood Mac and Heart.0
-
Austin City Limits - a whole weekend of concerts!0
-
Steve Miller Band and Garth Brooks.0

Toss up between front row in 2006 at the DCU Center to see Foo Fighters and Weezer together (Dave Grohl gave me his guitar pick) or Coldplay in Mansfield, Ma... both amazing shows.0

Can't decide......Train was awesome in concert.....BNL was as well. I have seen O.A.R many times and they are always amazing.0

Old guy alert!
I've been to hundreds of concerts but this gets the nod...
Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band at the CNE Grandstand in Toronto August 1978.
Pearl Jam was the last show I saw in Toronto before moving to the UK and they were excellent. They're headlining the Isle of Wight Festival (Saturday night) and I'm hoping I can find the cash for a ticket.0 -
beastie boys and U20

I really like Todd Snider too. I've seen him play a bunch of times................. I like all kinds of shi t from 80's new wave to death metal.0
-
Avenged Sevenfold...I've been twice! I saw them with Papa Roach (Really amazing in concert even though I'm not a huge fan) and Buckcherry (Awful). The other time they were with Stonesour (Also amazing) and Disturbed (I was not impressed even though I am a fan). My husband and I were in the pit. He is not really into my music, but he said he would love to see A7X again. We'll be back!0
