looks delicious!
are these 15 cals EACH? i dont see how the whole recipe could 15 cals with a whole egg.
I just calculated the recipe and they are 22 calories a tot, but it could very well be 15 calories a piece depending on which brands you use. The calories vary so much.
This is how I came up with 15:
Squash - Zucchini, includes skin, raw, 1 cup, chopped 20 cals
Onions - Raw, 0.25 cup, chopped 17 cals
Trader Joe's - Parmesean Cheese Grated, 1/4 cup 17 cals
Kikkoman - Panko Bread Crumbs, 1/4 cup 55 cals
Eggs - Whole, raw, 1 large 74 cals
Total: 183 cals
Per Serving: 15
I entered 12 for "serves __ people"
Hmm my parmesan (Kraft) has 10 calories per TEASPOON.0 -
[Umm YUMMY]
These are simply stated : AMAZING!!
Ingredients:
Squash - Zucchini, includes skin, raw, 1 cup, chopped
Onions - Raw, 1/4 cup, chopped
Parmesean Cheese Grated - 1/4 cup
Panko Bread Crumbs- 1/4 cup
Eggs - Whole, raw, 1 large
I put the onion and zucchini in the food processor so it's finely chopped. Mix everything together. Spoon by the teaspoonful into mini muffin tin (GREASED) Pat down with back of spoon. 400 degree oven for 20 minutes or until you notice them getting a beautiful brown crust on the edges. Makes 12 tots per tin.

* ( I did not put any panko in them so I had to drain the water from the shredded zuchinis)

I made these tonight. I added a couple of dashes of garlic and had to cook them in a regular muffin pan, so they were more like zucchini patties, but they were DELICIOUS!0
