Home made whole wheat waffles with home made blueberry syryp? I just put a small amount of butter in a nonstick pan with a handful of fresh blueberries, some cinnamon, a little milk and a packet of splenda and let it cook for like 10 minutes. Awesome ;)

Food: Sunflower kernels. Also, avocado pudding. Love that stuff.
Drink: Peanut butter banana protein shakes. I saw a video of Brooke Burke making one in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=fvwpb&NR=1&v=zZuGs7LML-Q last night, and just had to try it this morning. It's amazing, and I'm so glad I found it. I had to double the recipe to get a solid meal, though (367 calories), so keep that in mind.
  • I've currently fallen in love with banana ice cream. I just mash up a banana along with other fruit and freeze. Yummy.

Edamame. I like the frozen bags that you pop in the microwave. Top with a little sea salt. MmmMmmmGood. Cures my evening what-used-to-be (and occasionally still is) Ruffles fix.

Nicoise style salads for dinner! For two of us, I use 1 can of olive oil packed tuna from Trader Joe's, half a can of Cannellini beans, a handful of steamed haricots verts, a hard boiled egg and a handful of cooked fingerling potatoes. Drizzle aged balsamic on top with just a little extra evoo. Toss with a bag of herb salad mix (also TJs) and we're set. Filling, nutritious, healthy and cheap!

Wal Mart's brand margarita flavored drink mix. Shot of tequila in a 24 ounce glass, some ice, and fill with this fake margarita mix makes me one happy ole lady in the evening.

i LOVE mustard. on a baked potato is my fav! i add it to my baked beans too

At first I was like mustard on a baked potato?? Then I got to thinking that might not be too bad!

I've been known to put some mustard on my salad instead of dressing. It reminds me of a breadless veggie sandwich MMmmmm

Hummus -- specifically the roasted red pepper hummus from Costco. With carrots, which I can usually take or leave. Can't go a day without them.

    Slimfast shake for breakfast.....

I don't eat breakfast, just can't face food at 6.30 on a morning, I was having (occasionally) low fat natural yoghurt with a bit of granola and/or berries for texture but I'd be hungry by lunchtime. My cousin is training to be a midwife and its a tip she got from one of the ladies she's working with when doing night shift they often can't face eating a meal so have a shake instead.

I have found it gives me something to start the day and so far its working, I would never meal replace other meals but for breakfast its setting me up for the day.
