    Well, I can tell you that I'm not. Usually I run early to beat the heat, but lately we've had 80F with a dew point in the 70's even at the early hours. Plus, I've been nursing a pulled intercostal muscle the last few days. So, I've been a wimp and took the last 3 days off from running; have been walking instead. I'll hit the treadmill today.

    Do other runners have tricks to deal with the heat, other than running early / late? I've tried things like putting ice cubes under my running hat, rolling ice cubes in a bandana and tying it around my neck. Not sure how much they have helped. Any suggestions, or do you all just gut it out?

    I haven't been able to go to many workout classes since July began because of a different schedule and the 4th, etc, so I've been running a lot! Looking like my goal is very attainable :) Keep it up everyone - great work!

    Denise, thanks again for this challenge. Without it, I would have taken the 4th of July off. I’ll need the exercise since I’m smoking three racks of Baby Backs today.

    Happy 4th of July to my fellow U.S. *kitten* Movers!

    Sun 1: Recumbent Bicycle – 30 min/6.5 miles
    Mon 2: Treadmill/EKG Stress Test - 0 miles.
    Tue 3: Recumbent Bicycle – 31 min/6.1 miles
    Wed 4: Elliptical – 48 min/8.9 miles

    Total Miles: 21.5
