I tried it....it was good but the greek yogurt was a bit tart....I am gonna try something else in its place and add blueberries..

I agree, we need a mark topic, bumping takes forever to get through the threads....and the quote thing makes the pages longggggg.

I tried it today with Cottage Cheese, I used 1/4 cup oats (150 calories), 1/2 cup cottage cheese (90calories), and 1/2 cup crushed pineapple with splenda (50 calories). It is probably my favorite so far.

Did anyone notice that your belly swelled some, an I had awful gas....maybe TMI but wondering if anyone else had this issue.

I had no idea what this was, had to google it. For those who don't know, either, here's some links:

I've been making a high protein version of these for a while.

    1/2 cup oats
    3/4 cup almond milk
    1/2 cup fage greek yogurt
    1 scoop chocolate whey
2 tbs all natural almond butter
    1/2 cup frozen blueberries
    4-5 frozen strawberries
    1 banana

sometimes i throw in nutella for that extra chocolate & hazelnut taste

I notice these recipes are 300-400 calories... that's 1/4 - 1/3 of my daily calorie total. Any low calorie recipies?

I love these! But man you gotta watch the calories!

    1/4 cup oats (75 calories)
1 tsp wheat germ (20 calories)
    1tsp ground flax (15 calories)
1 tsp sugar in the raw syrup (20 calories) honey and agave are more than twice the calories
1/2 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice (or any other spices you want) (up to 10 calories) Pampered chef sprinkles are good here too
1/2 cup fat free greek yogurt (60 calories

Total 200 calories You could double this, or add protein powder and milk of your choice if you need 400 calories for your meal, but I eat small 200 calorie meals and snacks throughout the day so it was mandatory for me to scale this back.

It's helped me lose 37lbs so far!

So I've read about overnight oats for a few months now, but it wasn't until reading this thread last night that I decided to try it. I'm officially sold. Will be making this more often, for sure!

    My ingredients

    1/2 cup of quick oats
1/2 cup of Chobani 0% plain Greek yogurt
    1tbsp of Maranatha almond butter
1/4 cup of vanilla soy milk
    1 pack of stevia

In the morning, I cut up a banana and put it on top and it is sooooo good! Thank you for this thread!

I love overnight oats - you can even do it vegan by using a mashed banana and almond milk - bunch of recipes on pinterest http://www.pepperlynn.com/2012/02/overnight-oats-two-ways/

Wow I can't wait to try this! I am gluten intolerant and always looking for new ideas for breakfast! This sounds great!
I have a son that is trying to gain weight for football, I saw it mentioned in the thread earlier about oats in smoothies, I do this for him. Grind them to a powder and add 1/2 a cup to his protein shakes to add some extra carbs.
