This takes like a confetti cake, or cake batter ice cream it is fabulous! I just made it and I am stunned how much like cake batter it tasted like. I did not have butter or almond extract so used rum extract and I used splenda and still tasted amazing.
Cake Batter Protein Shake
1/2 cup Low fat cottage cheese 1
1 Scoop vanilla protein powder 2
3-5 Drops butter or almond extract
1 tbs 1 tbs vanilla sugar free instant pudding mix OR 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3-5 Stevia packets (or sweetener of choice to taste)
1/2 cup-1cup Water (Alter this according to desired consistency)
5-10 Ice Cubes (Depending on how thick you like it, use less for a thinner consistency)
Optional: 1/2 tsp xanthan gum 3
Sprinkles for topping!
Put everything into a blender and blend until creamy consistency is reached! Top with sprinkles if desired, and Enjoy!

I just tried this with fat free cottage cheese. I hadn't tasted cottage cheese before so I had a small spoonful and was even more speculative of how this could possibly taste good. I used crushed ice and very little water to start. I added more water at the end to thin it out a little. I also skipped the protein powder since I was having this after dinner as dessert.
I just sent this recipe to all of my friends, encouraging them to try it. It came out so well, I was so pleasantly surprised. I also bought white chocolate sugar free pudding mix to try in place of the vanilla for next time (tomorrow morning most likely).
TRY THIS RECIPE! Thank you to whoever created/posted this recipe.0 -

I make a dashing dish protein shake about 5 times a week. One could say i am addicted! lol!
I like them because they are "homemade" (no crazy chemicals in them and I am in control), delicious and seem so sinful but arent!
My faves: samoa girl scout cookie, cake batter with pb2 and banana, frozen hot chocolate
I actually just finished a samoa shake about an hour ago! :drinker:0 -

I don't know what the xanthan gum 3 is but the rest sounds pretty straight forward. Might be worth trying!0 -
